Felt the earthquake here too. Got up as the door was rattling and thought it might be DS trying to get in. A bit confused, I went back to bed. When I heard the news I said to DH - 'there was an earthquake last night, that's what the rattling was'. 'I know he said - that's why the bed was shaking'. Why didn't he actually think to mention that it had been an earthquake when I got up?!! Grrrrrrrrrrr!0

Hi MOT
Well the earth moved for me last night.....right the way down here in Surrey..pity I was on my own and reading a book!! First i thought the bed was collapsing..then I thought the boiler was trying to explode...then I thought the house was subsiding..(It was underpinned last year) ....finally I thought it must be an earthquake...but stayed awake for another 30 mins just in case it really was the boiler!!.
Funny thing is though..people were reporting unusual early warning behaviour from their cats and dogs....yet my piggies didn't even raise a rustle or squeak!! (and believe me they can squeak loudly if they want to in the early hours....!!)
I'm sure IT (no not Italian Tony, capital "it", the Tenancy Agreement!!) will happen....electrical/gas inspections etc can take time...as can the paperwork as there is much much more bureacracy these days associated with tenancies (and luckily there for our protection as tenants).
Stay strong.....enjoy the sunshine...and let's start polishing those marigolds!!
Much love

Thanks for such encouraging words particularly as when I dropped my friend Jayne in town this morning, having taken twins to school, I said to her that I really don't think this house is going to happen
.
Off to Weight Watchers in a minute for first weigh in to see how much I have or have not lost - will let you know later.

Well what a surprise at WW this morning! I lost 5lbs:j :j :j :j :j
I have never lost that much in one week even a starter week! Its given me such a boost to carry on and do well this next week
Whilst I was at WW the guy from CAP rang to say that new LL has been 'up to his eyes' in things and appreciates that I need something for the schools waiting list so he is doing me a letter confirming that we will be renting the new property and will let CAP have it today or tomorrow - so fingers crossed again please!Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -

my fingers & toes are crossed for you !!The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about - Oscar Wilde:beer:
