MOT and twins - Start of our new life!

Haven't posted for a while; nothing much to say. What a wonderful supportive lot you are. I'm really grateful that you are still here for MOT and haven't given up and moved on. She still needs you and even when she has moved in to the new place she will still be posting and looking to keep you all as friends. Include me too. I look forward to meeting those I haven't already met, at whatever gathering we can arrange. I know some of you are chatting to MOT on the 'phone occasionally and believe me your calls are very welcome and provide much needed sanity in an occasionally insane world. You all talk so much sense, it's a pity you aren't running the country! Enough of my babble. Enjoy your day.0

Morning all,
Another beautiful sunny day here :j
Did you hear about the earthquake at Market Rasen? Mum lives 15 miles south of there so have rung her to check she's ok - she was woken by the her bed shaking (and no it was the old chap from opposite having crept in to share her bed :rotfl: ) but she thought she was dreaming and turned over and went back to sleep!!
Ampersand, thank you for your kind thoughts for D - she is halfway through her recovery period and still isn't able to drive though she wants to as she's going a bit stir crazy - she lives in a lovely village but it is very isolated and relies on her husband (who works) and her friends for company or visits out. We just sat and chatted mainly yesterday, although I did vac round for her and she washed T's shirt collars before putting them in the machine - all in all in it was a very pleasant and relaxing day for us both. She is one of life's lovely people and time spent in her company is so refreshing.
Today is a bit and bobbing day - taken twins to school, hung some washing up and going to have a shower in a bit, Then do some ironing - hopefully it will be another empty ironing basket! Oh, the joys and excitement - what has my life become:rolleyes: . Then pop into town and send Mother Day card and present for Mum. By that then it will be time to pick the twins up from school.

Didn't hear about that, mot - I'm going to log on to the BBC. Apparently, the UK experiences more 'earthquakes' than anywhere else in Europe, although they are, in the main, minor 'tremors' and go largely unreported.
Sorry the earth didn't really move for your mum. :rolleyes:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Hi MoT
Glad things are progressing. Yep, it does feel like a l-o-n-g three weeks doesn't it. Still hopefully not long now. ik23p23keewpiew (sorry, was trying to type with my fingers crossed then to wish you luck - it didn't work...).
Glad to hear your Mum's ok after the earthquake and she just went back to sleep. She's obviously made of strong stuff like her daughter! We felt it here, my OH had a dream I was shaking him by the ankles. Must give him a call to ask him whether it was erotic! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
