3 Retention Deals

Personally I wouldn't be calling them !!, the best deals come when they call you.
I would also say that you should be looking for a deal elsewhere, or why not try the mix and match 1100 for £20 a month, you can also get £62.50 through quidco + £30 via refer a friend = £!4.86 a month- fantastic value for money !!!, on top of this you can get £20 worth of free accessories with the voucher + if you really don't need the phone you can sell it on flea bay for around £140 and this will mean you end up getting the 18 month period for £7 a month!!!!!!!
Give up chasing 3, if the deal does then come along, then take it and give the £5 deal to one of your kids.
thanks for the feedback jebervic, came to the same conclusion. will wait until last few days of contract before making my move (no more phone calls to 3!!). As you say if the deal comes then great, if not then the other discounts via quidco, refer a friend, etc still make 3 a good deal. The new phone is intended for my wife, she's already got her eye on the Nokia 6500 slide.!!
will let you all know how i got on towards the end of the month0 -
jebervic..hi again....what is the voucher you mentioned for accesories?Ive still had no further calls but im hanging on in there....lol
The voucher codes change daily, you can get the days code by "asking a question" online on the three website. Also what are the £20 worth of accesories that you receive. Can you choose?
When you recieve your new handset there is a card included with the £20 vouchers code, you use it in the three accessories store, so its just like your bog standard weborder: http://www.threeaccessories.co.uk/index.phpSLC: £13000+
Quidco: £131.24 (paid) + £0 (validated) = £131.24
Valued Opinions: £75 (paid) + £52.30 (received) + £4.50 (pending) = £131.80
StudentPanel: £250 -

After weeks of trying and taking a 2nd pac code i have given up on 3 and left. I was after the N95 8GB but the only offer was the £30/month for 18mnths, same as a new customer, plus a bit of a saving with Quidco & RAF. Shame, because i did like the network. However, got what i think is a storming deal from Vodafone online. A refurb N95 8GB on a 12 mnth contract for £30/month with £100! cashback from Quidco ie £260 for the year. 3 are one of the cheapest for this phone and works out £540 before quidco around £38 i think? Called Vodafone for their definition of refurb and they said basically they are just returns not wanted from customers that have to be repackaged in a vodafone box, and have also gone through 2 check procedures (sending out and coming in). Anyway, got the phone i wanted, unfortunately had to change network.0

ANOTHER call from 3 today (contract due to expire on the 26th), its starting to get a bit annoying now, 3 phones call now (thurs and fri of last week, and now another tonight) ALL offering the same deal, I can't understand why they think I might accept a deal i've turned down twice before.0

In case anyone's interested I was called by 3 (on my O2 mobile!) and
offered 250 mins any network any time + 150 txts at £10 per month (for life)
on an 18 month contract.
Also included a new Sony Ericsson K770i
Not a patch on the £1/month deal I got last year but I guess they've stopped those!
I'd phoned last month to switch to PAYG.
I'm now wondering whether to send it back.
They sent a ghastly brown phone! (my kids wouldn't touch it with a barge-pole)0 -
Just got my latest bill to find my price plan has doubled ! Three will not explian why via their hopeless customer service.
Has anyone else had this and any luck with threatening to cancel their account ?
Thanks :j0 -
What tariff were/are you on? Were you on a half price for an amount of months? Where did you get your contract from? online/3shop/other shop???0
