    Hi

After renewing with o2/vodafone for many years and knowing what to expect, I have my first 3 renewal.

I am on the 12 month £15 sim only plan and generally happy with the service and unlimited data and tethering. The real bonus for me was the introduction of feel at home as I travel to the USA frequently.

Reading some threads it looks like 0800 are now included but I would have to sign a new contract and then pay extra for feel at home?

I rarely call 0800/0870 so this benefit is not important to me.

Do I call up and just ask to keep what I've got but with lower rental for my continued custom or do I try get feel at home and 0800 included for £15.

I've no idea how much "play" the 3 agents have when you call and how keen they are to keep your business?

    Thanks

    Rich

You honestly think you can pay less than £15 a month for what is possibly the best tariff on the market.

    Good luck.

    Feel at home is free.

If you sign up to a new deal then its under the new t&c. The first level guys can only offer what's on the website.

The second level guys that call after you have your PAC are a bit more flexible.

And good luck to you also in reading and understanding the concept and question of a post in the future.

    You're welcome.

Where is that? The nearest SIM I can find with tethering is a mobile b/b one, which is limited to 15GB, costs £19.99 and is a 2 year minimum contract.

This unlimited tethering deal appears to be restricted to existing phone SIM holders, wheras I am on a 5GB one month data only SIM contract (£8 pm retention deal).

Just been offered the one plan for £14 per Month on a 12 month contract or 600 mins 5000 texts 1gb for £9.90 on a one month contract or Nokia 520 with 300mins 500Mb and unlimited texts for £8 per Month on a 2 year contract. I so far refused all three wondering if retentions will ring me with something else?

I spent 32 minutes on the phone to 3 (India) this morning about getting an offer as my contract expires in 30 days. Phew! What a carry on. I told the lady CS that the Sim Only deal I have at £9.90 is used by my grandson and he uses the data within 2 weeks. The CS rep spent 30 minutes trying to get me to spend £18 per month when I started the call by stating that I did not wish to increase my monthly cost!

Over and over and over again she told me of the wonderful benefits of being a 3 customer and time and again, I told her I was not going to pay more than I was paying now.
After 30 minutes, I just had to demand my PAC, which she very reluctantly gave me.

I may go to Tesco and my grandson will just have to make do with his 1GB of data.
