I've done all that, but they don't offer me anything if I stay on my current £5 a month price plan.

Well I called another Three Store who told me oh yes, they can offer all that, blah blah blah, only to find (as expected) on visiting that they were talking "bull" - the word that they have in huge letters above their counter. They were quite surprised I was only paying £5 a mont and they explained that my Internet Extra add-on was due to the fact that they'd foisted the unwanted upgrade on me - despite the main tariff still being reported as VTT500. What a shambles.

I'm really finding it hard to believe you will really get the 6700 for £20 and continue your VTT500 for £5 a month, mutley74.

well i have been phone is now due for delivery for monday (even after i tried to cancel delivery) so i can upgrade via a store offer. Will let you know next week IF phone gets delivered (2nd attempt of waiting) and what new contract states! But cant see why they cant, as last year got a new 6500 and same contract!

Finally got me new 6700 through and notice my account has just been charged £20! not a bad slim phone but wish they would still make slids ones..oh well.

And on My3 Account Details you're still listed as VTT500? You're very lucky. I called them again today about a discount on a 6700 on Texter + Internet £20 and they weren't having any of it, so I'm counting down the days until cancellation. I would transfer the account to my parents (currently on PayG) but I don't think you can do that whilst also porting the number.

Well my contract ends in 30 days, I have called up three before seeing if they could give me a discount on the nokia e71 £20 texter and Internet which they didn't and they weren't budging today. Had a 20 minutes discussion about how new customer could get £47.50 from Quidco and what Quidco was, them insisting it was a retailer offering cashback and how three have nothing to do with cashback, then after a talk with a supervisor saying that I could go through quidco to upgrade and get the money, me saying I wasn't going to do that as it wouldn't track, then another talk with a supervisor he came back saying no I was right and it was only available to new customers. I asked them if they could give me account credit of the same amount as I was not going to pay more than a new customer would and they said they could not do that so they accepted my 30 days notice and gave me my PAC. See what happens over the next 30 days now and if they don't move on the price then goodbye three.

i know someone who t for just £5 pm go a N97, with internet and i think 500 mins (could be 300 can't remember, 3 rang him up whilst still in contract and offered the deal with a n96, he asked for the same with a n97 and they agreed, he's already recieved the phone.

Just rang 3-got mix and match 700 for £15.41 incl. all taxes (says 15.75 on the website) for a Sony c510. Mix and match 700 is normally £21, but there is already a special deal on for this phone so no discount. When pushed, I got the option to upgrade my phone after 14 months rather than the usual 18 months but that's a red herring as I think I would have to lock myself inti a new contract when upgrading.
I was offered a sony ericsson w595 with a 2GB card as an alternative. So not a great deal off, but I'm a simple user, just calls and texts, and this is no hassle with a cheap monthly price so I'm happy+no PAC crossover trouble+no money off after 12 motnhs send in your bill etc. Important to note on those ones that money a refund from s £35 pcm bill is great after 6 months/12 months etc, but you're paying VAT on the full £35 amount so that adds up. £15.41 incl taxes is a good deal I think, and I haven't spent hours chewing my lips in frustration which is worth some money!

Had a chat with a lady called Rachel from the exec office today, she was adamant that anyone on the £5pm 500 mins and 100 texts tarrif will not get an upgrade, basically said that anyone on that tarrif should be grateful for what theyve got. I was reminded that 3 are in the business to make money. She offered me a texter plan for £15, I declined as I could get the same plan on the 3 website for £10 a month + quidco etc.

I have to say that she rather rude at times, lacked commitment to customer service and basically couldn't care less about retaining customers, I have 7 contracts with 3 and im now looking to move these elsewhere.
