That does seem a good deal compared to the price that is offered to new customers, it seems 3 have more scope to offer better discounts on the mix and match price plans. I would suggest that you consider how you are planning on using the phone (are you likely to keep within the free minutes/text) and work out how good the deal is to you.
I had 150 video calling minutes on my plan and never had the need to use them, would much rather they had given me free internet add on instead.0 -
I just upgraded to the N97 for £166 on an 18 month contract.......AND kept my £5 per month loyalty contract - 300 xnet mins, 150 texts, £5 downloads. With internet add in works out around £19 per month over 18 months with the N97!
Do you mind me asking if you always keep within your £5 a month or do you go over or have add ons? Was your contract in the last month or not? Also was that the first price you had been given for the phone or did you knock them down?
Sorry about all the questions its just that im after the N97 on 2 contracts i have and we both also have the £5 month price plan. Last time i upgraded to my N95 8gb they first of all wanted £130 (if i remember rightly) for the handset then over the course of about 3 weeks i phoned a couple of times and each time got offered it for a different price and ended up with it for £30 i think it was.
Was just trying to work out what my chances of getting the N97 for £30 and still pay just £5 a month. I can dream!!!!!0 -
it been nearly two week and no callback from three after i canceled. i don't know if i can wait any longer. don't know if i should call and take the 25% off the 300 m+m or go as new customer for the 12m £25 texter with £62.50 off with quideco?0

I decided to upgrade my current contract with Three to a Blackberry Bold 9000 on their VT500 contract, which gives me the Blackberry, 500 minutes and unlimited texts for c£30 p/m. I ordered the upgrade through their website on Tuesday 14th, with the phone due to arrive on 15th July.
Wed 15th passes and no phone. I call them at 5pm to ask where the phone is. "Oh sorry, there was a problem with their systems" and so the phone didn't actually get ordered although they have upgraded my contract from 2nd Aug.
Attempt to order phone for that Friday (17th).
Wait again. No phone.
Call them various times throughout the day, getting increasingly annoyed with their incompetence.
After I eventually asked to speak to their cancellations department as I have had enough of them messing me about (I just wanted to cancel the upgrade) they would not let me cancel and told me that the phone should arrive by Wednesday this week (22nd July). Apparently the reason it has not arrived was because it's out of stock. Nice of them to tell me this, I think.
Now Monday and no phone still.
Tempted to cancel my direct debit and let them swing for it. Or, how do I MAKE them send me the phone?
What consequences will this have to my credit record etc?
Is there a call centre in the UK that I can complain to?0 -
I have been offered this today after a lenght conversation with three and about 9 calls to them:
M+M 1100
2300 3-3 minutes
Unlimited land line (Fair usage of 2000 minutes)
Blackberry Email + Internet 1GB Data
SE W595
£25.25PM
I already have a Blackberry BOLD from three, was not bothered about the phone as will probably sell that on Fleabay.
I dont use video calling, or picture messaging as this can be done via BlackBerry messenger.
Do you think this is a good deal?
How did you manage to get the Bold? I have just tried pretty much the same thing and am just waiting to get my hands on the flipping handset. Three truly are useless.0 -
Ok more problems, instead of discounting me £20 a month as promised so I get my £35 tarriff for £15 they have changed me to another £20 tariff and given me a £5 discount and as I said before a cheap phone NOT the same deal as promised.0

i got fed up of waiting are ordered my new phone last night then three phoned to day trying to get me to stay but the best they could offer is £5 off the m+m i told them that i had allready turned down a better offer and they told me i must of got the offer wrong this is the best offer i told them to swing. in all the calls they said the longer your with them the better the offers get so next year....... 4 1/2 year never had a disscount just took the first offer now i ask and just crap. my oh got £17 off on her first upgrade and the best i get is £5 on my fourth.
i think they must think i am stupid as i have sayed with them so long. if only vod had a 1gb+ like three and i would be there in a shot0 -
I was offered e71, free unlimited internet, 500 mix and match + 2gig memory card and 2 years warranty with unlimited 3 to 3 calls on an 18 month contract without actually cancelling my contract.
Do you think it's worth me cancelling to see if I can get a better details or do you guys think this is pretty good? Assuming I could sell the phone for £110 in 18 months (conservative estimate) it would mean i'd be paying under £11 per month.0 -

So basically you were offered the package for £17.11 a month
not bad, good phone, worth more than £150 on ebay (new)0
