I had 2 contracts with 3 both at 15 pounds 250mins and 50txt, first one was due to end last month and after weeks of trying to get the N95 8G or sony ericsson C905 i cancelled one contract, the other contract is due to end on 6th March and when i tried to cancel last month the useless call centre person i spoke to still wouldn't give me the phones I wanted then stated i would have to pay an early cancellation charge!?!?0

That "Useless call centre person" is correct, you may only have 2 days left on the contract, but it will still mean an ETF to cancel.
EDIT: If it was last month you would still have to pay an ETF.0 -

I don't understand, why would he need to pay a fee? Do you mean if the contract was being cancelled immediately without giving the 30 days notice? Think I gave my 30 days notice about 4 days before my actual expiry date and I haven't been charged anything. Or maybe they decided to save the surprise & just didn't tell me about any fees. Yet!0 -

Hardly surprising if you're only paying £15/mo. If you want premium phones for 'free', you need to pay the networks a reasonable amount each month to allow them to get the cost of the handset back and then some, over the life of your contract period.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. My contract ends officially in August, but can have an upgrade 3 months from the end as I'm on an 18 month contract. I currently pay £37 a month which is too expensive! I am looking for about 200 mins and 600 texts with upgrade. What do you reckon is the highest price I should pay for this?
