Wannasavemoney - Be careful about parking illegally after April. The rules change then so that the enforcement officers don't have to put the ticket on the car like they do now - they can post it to you, all they need is the car number!
Hi everyone, long time no post. I still read the daily most days so I know what's going on. I keep meaning to get back into the swing of posting and even start to but then I delete them because they are so boring!!
I have got news though DS has finally got a "proper" job after getting his degree. He is a trainee manager with LIDL, started this week. I asked if he'd get discount but he doesn't know yet.0 -
Afternoon all,
well i gave finished in the kitchen for now, i made not one but three pasta sauces and i`ll see how they freeze - fingers crossed they`ll be ok.
I managed to drag myself upstairs and have really blitzed the bathroom
i even cleared out the bathroom cabinet and i used stardrops on the suite for the first time and so far it looks fine, i`ll look later and double check as i`m not sure whether the bath will look ok or not as it usually takes some scrubbing thanks to DH only rinsing the botom when he`s done.
Time for a quick snack methinks and then off to w**r for the rest of the day.
Catch up later.

Good afternoon everyone:D
Had my old folks lunch today, so I'm exhausted and just chilling here for a bit;)
:j :j that Haribo is through her op, looking forward to an update:D
Not been too bright the last few days, but thankfully it wasn't the winter sickness bug, so not too many complaints!!!!
At least the new tablets I'm on, (only from Holland and Barrett, not prescribed) are working so my joints are an awful lot better. I really can almost:j :j :rotfl: :rotfl: Lose a couple of stones and my knees would even be able to take it:o
Well, DH did most of the ironing while I was out, so I can afford a little longer to have a browse round the site, before I start the dinner;)
((((hugs))))) to the poorlies.

Hi all
As if it wasn't busy enough at work today with 3 people off, we spent all day fielding phone calls from parents after there was an artical in the local paper.I think it goes under 'don't let the truth spoil a good story'. Allegedly one of our pupils was stabbed in the heart by another pupil, actually he was poked with a biro on his arm, ok it was a nasty poke, it didn't break the skin, but the ink went all the way through the shirt to the skin below.
Apart from that we've had 2 nosebleeds, 2 throwing up & 2 headaches & 1 girl wanting a 'thingy', what sort of thing, tampon? diary? paracetamol? clip round the ear? no it was a glass of water!!! So quite an average day really.
Hugs to Jayward & Choc'orange.
Hugs Hester

Heard today that my DD's friend is moving, she will miss her - and then I got home to hear that my next door neighbours are going to!!! after 23yrs!!
Everyone seems to be moving house apart from us - who really need to cos we need the room:o The house we missed getting 4 years ago for £280K is back on the market yesterday....but its up for £485,000!! its only a small 4-bed - He has way overpriced it for this area:mad:
Yesterday I haggled with the AA about my breakdown renewal - came in at £166! got it down to £100 - after comparing with RAC etc- bit of a difference eh? just shows you if you dont challenge them and just pay automatically.
