Morning all
it`s a very very cold day today but also bright and sunny which lifts the spirits.
Good luck with your op today Haribo!
I`m off back into the kitchen in a mo to make some pasta sauce for tomorrow and hopefully some to freeze too if there`s enough ingredients.
There`s nothing much to report here today really so i think i`ll slope off to make that sauce.
Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All
I was busy yesterday i didn't post what with shopping and caring for my mum also going to ikea and picking my new kitchen which i will install myself at the end of feb had the kitchen designed and the costings i was amazed it only comes to £350 for the units, worktop, legs & trim, Got the floor tiles off ebay for £70 sink and tap new from freecycle so the only things are the oven and hob and decoration so for around £450 i am pleased.
Cheers

Morning all,
Haribo, best of luck with the op today.
I blame you all and your recipes for the 1lb I put on this week at my slimming world weigh in. I told the rep that you all held a gun to my head while I baked and ate!
I had a really close shave this morning with my car. Just quickly parked in the taxi rank while I whizzed to the veg stall on the market to buy my weeks veg. I could see my car, while I was paying for my veg but didn’t see the sneaky parking attendant! Got back to my car, dumped the veg in the boot and drove away before he could slap a ticket on it:rotfl: I think he had only just got there. Literally I was parked there no longer than five minutes. Could have been a very expensive veg shop
Just blitzed the boys bedrooms and dusted. Had fruit salad for breakfast (am now back on diet with NO extras for the next week)
Charlies mum – I’m with slimming world and its great. If you like lots of fruit and veg/pasta/rice on green days and lots of meat on red days. I love it and find it easy to stick to. (apart from the baking and eating sweets and cakes bit:rotfl: ). There is lots of 'free' stuff that you can eat there are lots of foods that you can fill up on depending on what day you are doing.
My favourite foods are fresh fruit chopped up (as much as you like) topped with a muller lite yoghurt. This meal is a free one and you can eat as much as you like. The other favourite is Slimming World chips baked in frylight with mushy peas, and topped with two fried eggs done in frylight. This is also a 'free' meal on a green day. It has made a lot of difference to how i cook food now, and has reduced the amount of oil and fat i use in cooking by a hell of a lot and still tastes good.
Must get on and do some prep for dinner tonight. Helping out at the school this afternoon so need to get ahead of myself for that.Proud to have dealt with my debts. Nerd number 288:j Debt free date Dec 07 :EasterBun

Still in pjs but kitchen sinks are steeping, four bedrooms are now a bit more presentable, bathroom has had a swipe round and will hoover and do a quick polish later. Might nip to corner shop for olive oil so I can make my own polish!
Three loads of washing are on the line and dishwasher is churning.
Going to sit down on here for a while with a cup of coffee and calm down."This site is addictive!"

dlb That's nearly 2 weeks and you must be saving loads of money! Well done!
This morning I went to see DD2's class assembly which was lovely. She's always been quite shy, whereas DD1 has never had a shy moment in her life:rolleyes: , so It's so nice to see her enjoy performing with her class.
Well for a change I'm not going to be that busy today as most of my housework/schoolwork/shopping is upto date. The stew is in the sc and all I need to do is finish the ironing and make some flapjacks.
Have a good day!0 -
