morning all,
Day three of Fork lifting, starting to wear a bit thin now  , still one more day tomorrow then freedom,:j .
Training all day then off to meet DD at her school for parents evening, will grab a takeaway on the way home as I am not sure what time we will get back, hope she gets good reports.,
Recycling and rubbish out this morning, its very cold here again, I am going to wear OH's big puffa jacket today it makes me look huge, but keeps me nice and warm.
Good luck to haribo today, and pink enjoy being nursey.
Snowy hope you get some sleep soon x
Have good days all xx0 -
Morning :hello:
I'm not leaving the house today, my new freezer's being delivered :j WANNA SEE? Luckily the cheapest was from Gillman's, who are near me :j
We wanted an A rated chest freezer, but to get the volume we wanted, the freezers were HUGE and we haven't got the room. I didn't realise that the higher the rating, the thicker the walls of the freezer are  Also, I'm not very tall and if I tried to reach the bottom, I'd probably fall in lol. I know this because I tried it in the shop :rotfl:
We drove to the boss's house last night (a 3/4 of a mile drive lol), he gave me his old PC. He's one of those people who keeps old things 'for spares' then wants the newest gadget going, so he'd never use the bits off it. So I'll be setting that up today. I stopped at the office too, to pick up the post so I can get work done at home.
There's not much to do here so I'll just flit around the house, tidying up bits and pieces as I go.Bulletproof0 -
Hello everybody,
Been baking this morning. I made some gingernuts using treacle and they tasted lovely. Most of them are all gone. Ironed & helped DD pack. It's all stacked up in Bombi now ready for Friday. We've had showers here and when it's not raining it's been very humid. Had a really late night last night. DD & I laid on the bed watching murder shows. Bliss.
Tea is chickpea patties & veggies. I'm too tired to make dessert. So it's yoghurt & grapes.
Mrs Mix :hello:
Good luck Haribo. xx
Will pop back later. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -

Tru - I hope its for inside as I was told you shouldn't have upright ones outside. Which reminds me I must try to empty my garage one when I get home before I go off again.:o

DGWell, sort of
We told the man in the shop that it was going in the shed, he said not to buy the upright one. But our shed is brick-built, so it's like a mini garage
It has a plumbed-in sink (well it did, we took the sink out), an electric light and sockets on the wall. Aren't I posh? :rotfl: :rotfl:Bulletproof0 -

Tru Be careful of those drawers. I had one like that and they break easily and it's such a pain to replace etc. I opted for the cage type drawers this time which slide out.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0

morning all
jockettuk glad your DD and her friends seem to be coping with it are the school doing a memorial assembly or have the family invited her friends along (that might be a bit too traumatic given your DDs age) perhaps taking flowers later on might give them some comfort and a bit more 'closure' if thats the right word. its so difficult to know what to do for the best isnt it.
hope haribo op goes ok
got to nip in work for 1/2 hour this morning, then again at dinner. Breaks the day up too much.
another split tea, eldest ds is doing his performance (he came home looking orange last night- by the end of the 3 night run im going to be out of make up remover)
ive got a big (2 door) upright freezer in my kitchen, its got the wire basket drawers like aussie described, the only damage ive done is went its been to iced up and the kids have rammed the drawers closed theyve broken a couple of the moulded lungs off the drawers run against:mad: but its almost 20 years old and still works a treat.
have a good day allSPC~12 ot 124
