Well, none of the points I made are wrong. Indisputably there are more dodgy non-PSes than dodgy PSes... but the fact remains that they do exist.
'His' is less tiresome to write than his / her every time I want to make a point about a hypothetical ebay seller... life's too short for agonising over gender semantics.
I was talking about the here and the now. If powerseller restrictions aren't tightened up until May, we still have quite a few weeks of looseness. I don't subscribe to the 'Powerscammer' mentality, but I have first hand experience of a crapola PS, who I had to neg, and is now NARU.
Lousy PSes do exist... and will no doubt continue to do so... although I agree that things will be better. My TV is broken!

By the way... are you suggesting that crap PSes will slip into the non-PS category and bring the rating down for everyone?
Or are we talking about the difference between
- an inevitable decline in feedback/star ratings
- a hypothetical corresponding decline in ACTUAL seller standards? My TV is broken!
