  • i went to legoland last year and thought it was fab, but it was far too busy and my toddler hated standing in line for more than an hour for each ride. we would go back, but not during school holidays!! we stayed in a travelodge cheap room, we don't live in that area - if we lived near there then i would go a lot because it really is a lovely park.

Legoland is great but too crowded specially if you go on a bank holiday. Anyone know when the best time is to go when it is not too crowded - outside public holidays I imagine! My first post I hope I am doing it right!

  • Just got home from a fantastic day out to Madame Tussauds, walked straight pass the que to get in, we also went into the chamber live, asked to see our tickets showed them our passes and walked straight through, no problem. Have really changed it since the last time (many years ago) i went, you can actually get right up close to the stars, my ds really made us laugh when he touched the back of a bald mans head who was standing next to President George bush having his photo taken, because he thought he was a wax model! never seen ds jump so much had us in stitches luckily the man saw the funny side too!

So far we have been too Thorpe Pk and Chessington (same day) and now Madame Tussauds, definetly making the most of our passes have not got the new version but didn't think it will matter as this is the first time we have actually had them, maybe next year we will get the newer ones, have saved so much money already and having a great time be even better when the weather warms up!

    Have fun
