    Woman jailed for testicle attack

A woman who ripped off her ex-boyfriend's testicle with her bare hands has been sent to prison. xxxxxx, 24, flew into a rage when xxxxx, 37, rejected her advances at the end of a house party, Liverpool Crown Court heard. She pulled off his left testicle and tried to swallow it, before spitting it out. A friend handed it back to xxxx saying: "That's yours."

The funniest bit of that is the friend's response.

Only the cctv in the flats i was in can prove they didnt .. i then rang to complain on the monday morning and it was suprising how quick they managed to get the parcel to me on christmas eve considering they first tried to fob me off with there drivers dont deliver christmas eve..
then they kept saying they carded my door etc and i was like they havent etc ..

This has happened to us today!!

Bought from Amazon, paid extra for express delivery, meant to be here by 1pm.

    2pm and still nothing.

Just been on the phone to them and apparantly delivery was attemped at 10.30 and a card was posted....errrrrrr NO it wasn't and NO card!!

I too got the 'he said you have the X coloured front door'.

Rang back again because I was reallyyyyyy annoyed and someone from the depot office will perosnally be dropping the parcel off after 5pm today.

Is that an admission of lying incompetent staff or what?

I'd been sat here, since 8.50am, in the bay window on the PC, it's a one way street and ONE van has been down it, and that was workmen for a neighbour!

I can't STAND companies/staff who lie!

I've certainly read some of the horror stories of the past and I think we've been lucky until now. There have been instances where they (any courier) may have lied about attempted delivery but even though there was no card in those cases we may have been out at the time so didn't dispute it. But this is the first time where it's inconceivable that we're at fault and especially on the card issue it seems to be coming down to the bottom line that the company stance is that we're lying.

I remember reading a post (I think it was on here or could've been ebay's forums) that same thing happened to poster where they claimed they attempted delivery but in that case he actually had CCTV covering his drive and could prove that noone came up the drive at all on that day. I think that when he told the courier about that evidence only then did they accept it and suspended the driver. But so much for the "customer is always right" I know it's not practical all the time but it seems to have gone too far the other way.

citylink were meant to deliver some parcels my partner needed for health reasons. they pretended to dleiver (no card left) i rang and asked where it was and was told i could go and collect it and where to collect from turned up at the office to be met by a securtitt guard who asked for my card advised we were nto given one and he said well you cant collect your parcel anyway i was livd he then proceeds to show me a fax that said they tehy were not allowing people to collect items without cards .. from ... the day after the day we were talking to security guard so i was having none of it .. anyway he supposedly rings manager and then says sorry they have said no card no entry. so i ring depo on my mobile and speak to somone we spent 35 mins arguing with security and this manger and eventually they gave in.

Why they have to lie, I don't know!

Wouldn't suprise me if they paid per job, so they just drive past all their jobs one day, then actually attempt to deliver the next thus getting paid for the same job twice

I'll definitely tell my mum that as she said that if they do same thing tomorrow she was wondering if it was worth simply going and collecting it. I guess not if they have that circular logic policy.
