Washing machine is on and dishwasher has just finished.

Had bacon and egg for breakfast (trying low carb to lose a bit of weight).

Sorted out a couple of bills to get paid. The stunningly efficient(not) solicitor managed to underpay the estate agents by 800 pounds so now need to pay them myself!

When we finally manage to sell our own house I know who I will not be using!

Phoned the local college and have booked a cut and blow dry for tomorrow and a consultation about my grey hair ( more blinding white and scary to be honest)

If that works out I might investigate their beauty treatments as well.

Just a pity they do not surgically remove the excess weight as well!;)

Sorted out a load of bedding last night and DD is now in a different bedroom and seems to like it.

Have a load of dry laundry to sort out but got sidetracked by the computer.

DH actually enjoyed his steak done in the slow cooker last night and I have found directions for cooking the belly pork he likes so will try that in the next week.

Put a chicken in the slow cooker and might turn some of it into curry tonight as I have peppers and mushrooms to use up.

If DH gets home around lunch time I might make us cauli cheese.

Family think they are noticing a difference in my shape after 2 and a half weeks - the fat is not so much vanishing as changing shape!:j

Your lodger sounds like a spoilt child (as well as a slob!)

Glad you eye is a bit better. Please consider treating yourself as well as you treat your friends- I was  for you when you got woken up.

    Good luck at Kings!

Hugs to everybody and see you later.

YAAAAAAY :j Mr tru's mate has a smallholding (jealous? me?? naahh :D ) and he keeps pigs. The first ones have just been slaughtered and he's going to sell for a profit but he said we could have whatever we wanted at cost price :j He's getting chooks and lambs soon and will do the same deal for them :j Obviously, I will try to get them even cheaper by part-exchanging for veg :D Errrrm, I need a bigger freezer, anyone got one going cheap? :D

I'm off out into the garden in a mo, just having a hot drink first. One load of washing has just finished, just another 3 to go  We seem to have loads of wood lying around, I want to see if there's enough to make a huge run for the animals. I'd like to make one with hinges all over instead of bolts so it can be folded flat (or near enough) when the animals aren't in it

To all the poorlies - feet up and lots of hot drinks. If you don't, the aches and pains, coughs and runny noses lasts for weeks.

Tattycat, im only doing so well on ebay at the moment as i had 2 Ds consoles to sell plus DH has had a huge clear out of his military and ww1+2 collection.
I normal just sell clothes and toys. I found lowering my postage post has seem to attract more bidders, even though i didnt overcharge in first place.

Aussie-Yes i have noticed a difference in my lungs, just can breath deeper and not weezing as much!!! And i can smell things differently including people who smoke!! Have i smelt like that for the last 10 years!!!!!!

Right off to get some washing put away and get another load in

DLB- I gave up a year and one month ago and its the best thing I ever did! I also save a fortune as I always used to nip into the supermarket, buy loads of stuff I didn't need, get a pack of cigs and £10 cash back. The next day I would take that £10 cash and go back to the supermarket and buy more junk and ciggies! Not only have I saved money on not buying cigarettes, I've stopped wasting so much money on stuff I didn't need. With the money I've saved (and the health benefits I've gained) I've bought a mountain bike and booked a summer holiday to the Alps for this year!

    morning all,

Well its turned into a beautiful but cold day here, its nice to see the sun.
I have tidied through house, hoovered mopped and polished, changed DD's bedding and got it on line, its not doing much just hanging there, but it will smell nice. Done the veg for tonight and tomorrow, made 2 shepherds pie, 1 for tomorrow 1 for freezer, made DD'd pasta bake, and a huge pan of soup from sundays chicken carcass (14 meals out of one chook :T ), just boiled some eggs that needed eating so they will do my lunches for the rest of the week, I feel very :A :A .

Got a man coming to fix front door at 2 (still under gaurantee ), need to put the lamb in the sc for an hour or two, will then crisp it up in the oven with spuds.

Aussie that was far to much info, are you sure its nothing you have cooked :D

donna, well done with the giving up xx :T

elona, I once did a low carb diet for two weeks and lost 11lbs, its a great kick start to a diet xx

joannasmum and celyn90 hope you feel better soon xx

    tigzem, hello :j
hugs to everyone feeling ill or down xx

    Hi all.
Well, got up and went to work, had to come home at 11 tho. Legs won't work.
I've still got a rotten sore throat, so I think that's why the legs are playing up.:o

((((((((((HUGS))))))))) to everyone who needs one. Can't see Mum today, as I don't want her to get my germs.
DS is working till 10.30, had to get a cab to collect him, I'll be unable to.

Anyway, back to bed for me, see you all soon........................
    I Believe in saving money!!!:T
