    Hiya :)

We have a thread on Christmas that has been running for quite a while now so I'll add your posts here on to the end of it. There's all sorts of info on the thread so you'll need to start reading from the beginning to catch up.

    You're wa-a-a-ay behind us all :D

what craft ideas do you have?
We have quite a few craft ideas for Christmas. They are to be found in the Homemade Gifts Collection along with lots of other ideas that might inspire you. :)

You can find them in our "Indexed Collections" sticky at the top of the forum listing, or you can follow the clue in my signature any time you see it or...

..you can use the Indexed Collections link in the Blue Bar at the top of every page which looks something like this:-

Today I bought 2 copies of a great book for almost any age called "Remember When" - A nostagic trip through the consumer era by Robert Opie originally £19.99 down to £5.99 each.

PLEASE tell me where you bought these books, I think it looks fabulous but the cheapest I can see is £10.49 from Amazon.
I have spent the last 3 hours reading these Christmas threads with Christmas music playing! Now I am back down to earth and have to wait until December, but I think I am going to have fun making my calendars etc.
    Merry Christmas everyone!!

i posted this on the wrapping thread, but in case any of you missed it (im sure people here will find it useful)...

its not quite what you are after i know, being a box, but it is so soooo pretty i just had to share this little gem i found on an american craft site called craftster. i was really enchanted by this snowflake paper box with bow

which looks a little something like this :

the post lists the links to the site for the origami templates and instructions, so its a case of choosing your paper/card and away you go!

It looks great but there is no way that I could do this.

I may have to fall back on wrapping something in pretty material (offcuts) and ribbon or lace bow.

I booked my Christmas and New Years hair appointments on Saturday!! Hairdresser said that she was fully booked for Christmas Eve and New Years Eve so I had to take the evening before for both appointments! Obviously a lot of people are better organised than me! :o
