Pania - you have absolutely nothing to apologise for at all. You (as well as the others!) have been incredible in your support & organisation and the rest of us who want to help in constructive ways very much appreciate it.Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0

To lighten the mood:rotfl: Hope the don't cause any offence
HUSBAND: Shall we try a different position tonight?
WIFE: That's a good idea... you stand by the ironing board while I sit on the sofa and fart.
A woman and a man driver are involved in a horrific collision, but amazingly both escape completely unhurt - though their cars are written off.
As they crawl out of the wreckage, the man sees the woman is blonde and strikingly beautiful. Then the woman turns to the man and gushes breathily: 'That's incredible - both our cars are demolished but we're fine. It must be a sign from God that we are meant to be together!'
Sensing a promise, the man stammers back, 'Oh yes, I agree with you completely!'
The woman goes on, 'And look, though my car was destroyed, this bottle of wine survived intact, too! It must be another sign. Let's drink to our love!'
'Well, OK!' says the man, going with the moment. She offers him the bottle, so he downs half of it and hands it back.
'Your turn,' says the man.
'No, thanks,' says the woman, 'I think I'll just wait for the police.'
Murphy's Law.
Mr.Murphys laws were obviously compiled by an expert in such fields. The origin of Mr. Murphy remains somewhat of a mystery however, and it is also possible that he may have been related to a person with the name of Sod. Possibly a brother but in either case connections with Ireland cannot be ruled out.
This intelligent race of people have produced many experts in many fields over the years and amongst them appears to be Mr. Murphy.
What became of Mr. Murphy appears also to remain a mystery. The consensus of opinion seems to be that he possibly fell victim to one or more of his own laws, some examples of which follow......
Murphy's Law states that.
If something can go wrong it will,.... usually at the most inopportune moment.
Murphy's Law states that.
A dropped tool or component will always fall in the place where it can do the most damage.
Murphy's Law states that.
The failure rate of a component, part, or sub assembly, is inversely proportional to its ease of repair or replacement.
Murphy's Law states that.
The failure rate of a component, part, or sub assembly, is inversely proportional to its cost and availability.
Murphy's Law states that.
When something has been stripped down for repair, and then re-assembled, extra components will always be found afterwards.
Murphy's Law states that.
If you arrive at a bus or train departure point, the one you want will always just have gone.
Murphy's Law states that.
Motor vehicle windscreen wipers only break down when it is raining.
Murphy's Law states that.
If you have a hole in your shoe and it is raining, the one with the hole in it will always find a puddle first.
Murphy's Law states that.
A piece of bread or toast, when in free fall, will always land buttered side downwards.
Murphy's Law states that.
When you put something important away in a safe place, when the time comes to retrieve it, that will be the last place you will look for it, if indeed you ever find it again.
Murphy's Law states that.
It will either rain or go dark before morning, and sometimes both will occur.
Murphy's Law states that.
After moving house, the thing that you want most will be the last thing that you un-pack and usually at the very bottom of a large pile of other stuff.
Murphy's Law states that.
When you wish to attract attention it is virtually impossible to do so. The inverse also applies, that is when you do not wish to attract attention it is virtually impossible to get rid of it.
Murphy's Law states that.
To err is human, but to really foul-up you need a computer.
Right must get some work done I'll check in later

Good luck MOT, IT and the twins, hope everything goes as smoothly as it can today....
Pania, you have absolutely nothing to apologise to anyone for!!! You and the others who have all but put ur lives on hold to help MOT should be proud of yourselves! And to everyone else who has done/is doing their little bit in whatever way they can, well done I say :T
And to Vicktory, and all the people u *claim* to have been disgusted by what was going on this thread, I say, I really hope that one day u find urself in MOT's situation, so u can see what REAL kindness is...
WHO CARES if MOT is effectively a stranger!?! Many people have been touched by what is happening to her - which is why we all wanted to help in some way. She initially came here for moral support and advice, and has never asked for anything more. I think it is really sad that u felt is neccessary to report the 'goings on' on this thread. What happens in PM's is no-ones business, hence the name Private Message.... and if u don't like what u read in the thread, the simple solution is to not read it!

To MoT and twins, best of luck to you with your move today, and for your future. I'm sure everything will come together soon and you will be in a much better place, physically and emotionally.
To all who have given support and help (in whatever form they saw fit): Well done. You are truly fantastic people. You have shown compassion and selflessness in a world where it is sometimes hard to find it. I hope that you all receive good things when you need them.
To those who have been unhelpful and offensive about the help given: I hope that you never find yourself in need of help. If this is how you treat people in our online community I am sure you are much the same person in real-life. If that is the case I doubt people you know will rush to help you. Then you will need to rely on the kindness of strangers and you obviously couldn't cope with that.Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on

Hi,
I have followed this thread since a fellow MSE'r mentioned it to me a few days ago but haven't posted until now ... I was very shocked by the nasty comments in DT and am now even more shocked by Viktory's vendetta against MoT. This has prompted me to post.
Therefore to Viktory I would like to say shame on you, what goes around comes around ....
Also although I never posted on the thread I did PM both Pania and Ampersand to ask how I could help as I live locally. I have done this directly to other OP's in other threads with other problems (but never posted on the actual thread as I want any help I offer to be done non publically) but in this case my Pm's went to Pania and Ampersand as I didn't want to bother MoT in this really stressful time
I can categorically say that neither has asked for any financial donation ... and even if they did it would be none of your business Vicktory.. they are not soliciting money.
So to Mot, my heart goes out to you ... I am close to Hemel and if you need any help at all please, please get in touch and I will help in any way I can.

Good grief ! I thought I was back at school after reading thro' last nights posts. It was rather like my gang V your gang.
I would just like to say that we are adults and are FREE to choose what we want to do or give to anyone.
Random acts of kindness is a good way to live and I choose to do this.
Good luck today MOT and keep us posted on whats happening0
