Guys I've just had a read through of what happened last night and am sitting here, very very sad and very very angry. Not only did we got the details we needed completely totally and utterly messed up by the people that mattered that lead to all the too-ing a fro-ing with PM's (finishing those off today) which has caused untold problems, we then have Vicktory coming back on trying to post dissent amongst us and i am so so sad for that. By trying to help a person in need with support it seems a hornets nest has been stirred up.
And here is an open invitation to Vicktory. I Have been instrumental in notifying people of ways in which to help MOT via pm or otherwise. If you should be venting your spleen to anyone it should be me, so please kindly do so, via PM if needs me and stay off this thread.

To everyone else. I am so sorry.

Pania, you have absolutely nothing to be sorry for, you have been a wonderful help to MOT :A and you have no blame in the error:mad: , yes it is unfortunate that people feel it is necessary to move to this thread :p but hopefully if we make no further mention of these persons they will go away:rolleyes: . :rotfl: I'm in a good mood today and no-ones going to spoil that - so put on some upbeat music and join me in a dance around the kitchen:cool: , forget about those who do not matter :p and give them no further cause for comment.:T Let's make MOT laugh on her stressful day:rotfl: .

  • Hi there,

    Best of luck MOT.

And further to my post re:- the good samaritan

Just as we are helping MOT in which ever way we can, even if it is just sending her some MSE hugs.

I would like to point out to victory that, if ever I past you lieing on the other side of the street, in need of help, I would cross over and see how I can help.

I would take a guess that most of the kind people that you have attacked and tried to sadden with your views, would also cross over and help, even if they knew it was you.

Why would we all do that???

Because that is what makes us who we are.

We respect your views, please do not try to change ours.

    Cheers

    Steve

Pania, you have nothing to apologise for. The threads about MOT seem to grow like Topsy, & but for you, ampersand & some others a lot of us would have difficulty keeping abreast of the situation. :) We can't agree with everyone all of the time, so just keep on doing what you're doing & leave them to it. Everyone needs help at some point in their life, & I'm a firm believer in karma. :)
  • Don't apologise Pania, not your fault.

Hey Pania, you have nothing to apologise for. Mostly it's human nature to try and help people if you can. To the people who don't have this inclination as part of their nature, that's their loss. I have not posted as part of this thread as I am too far away to be of any practical help and have a 3 year old ds that puts paid to most travelling.

Before I had my son I once spent a weekend helping a friend scrub her "emergency accomodation" because it was minging, and another weekend helping her scrub her new flat for the same reason. I spent another weekend helping her move all her furniture and took some time off work to help her move more.

Why did I help her? Well, this was the lady who two years before let me stay at her house for a week when I was temporarily homeless. The landlady I was living with had turned into a madwoman who made my life hell so I had to leave, and my boss found me somewhere else but it took a while.

Being homeless is very, very scary. My friend was homeless because her employment relocated, her boss offered her accomodation, then when they had moved, withdrew the offer, leaving my friend with nowhere to live. It could happen to anyone, that's the thing. Until I split up with my boyfriend and moved in with my landlady I had always had a mortgage and considered myself safely housed. When I read a thread like this, I always think "There but for the grace of God go I".

Lets hope the attitude shown by some people in this world never stops the people who are willing to help others through misfortunes and hard times from actually doing so. Good luck MOT and your helpers.
