    MOT

just letting you know that i am thinking about you today and hope everything goes well.

i have had a brief catch up this morning and am saddened that your first post has now been twisted and turned into something which you obviously never initially intended it to, and someone is going out to put a dampener on it.

years ago i found £200 cash in the street- a month later, the police told me i could keep it as it had not been claimed- on reading the local paper i read in the despatchd column that a young father had died of cancer- i decided to knock on the door of the family and give the £200 to the children (oldest aged 8). it wasn't mine in the first place and i had not intended to have it - however i CHOSE to give a donation because someone had heartache and trouble. so similar principles i read that the family were having a hard time through berevement - (just a general notice) and people rallied round.
That's what you call being part of a COMMUNITY of which Mse is one.

its part of human nature to help others who are in need whether financial, physical or emotional and although you wanted the emotional support, other posters have rallied round and decided to give you more support, which they are perfectly entitled to do .

take care of yourself and big hugs

good morning MOT & all :) wishing you all the very best of luck with the move today, hope the weather has stayed dry for you! xx

hope no one minds me posting some of martins blogs for viktory to take a look at

if as a result of your reports to abuse we are asked not to help MoT I will be very disappointed but will respect the decision as it is Martins site. The world would be a much sadder place without the little acts of kindness such as the ones taking place here for MoT & many others on this site & I for one feel extremely proud of all the lovely people on this thread who have pulled together & helped MoT in so many different ways :A
Excellent post, sweetpea. I'd never looked at Martin's blog until you posted those links (sorry, Martin :o ). I'll print those entries off to remind me that even when I think I have little to offer, there may still be something I can do if I just think hard enough. So many times we think we have nothing, yet we have more than others.

And I'm proud to say that, even if people are told not to offer help in such circumstances either to MOT or someone else in future, I'll be the rule-breaker from hell, because if I make an informed decision to help someone (in whatever form that help takes), I will do so. I know where & when to extend the hand of friendship, & I also know where to draw the line. :)
