  • Its taken me 2 days and many occurrances of numb bum and tears to read through all the posts. My thoughts are with you and your family MOT and i wish I lived closer and was able to help. I can't promise to help financially as my head is only just above water at the moment but I do have some bits to list on ebay soon. If I manage to sell them then I'll send some money your way to try to help a little.

I don't have access to a car at the weekend and I don't think I could bring my 5month old baby on the train from North Lincolnshire without annoying everyone! However I can always save some of his nappies for you and you can hide them in the MP's bag, and threaten him with more. That'll make him do something!!

I would like to thank the (generally) courteous responses I have received to my post. I did intend to comment further and expand a bit more but this post:

I thought this post was unduly harsh and it has made it quite clear to me that unless one is prepared to wholeheartedly join the MOT campaign and let not one utterance that does not support the party line, then one is not welcome and there will be no debate.

I did read the eviction thread and my opinions still stand. I am also quite clear in what was said about a certain Housing Officer. I am not prepared to spend my valuable free time searching through thousands of posts to prove my point. However, as this thread is clearly dedicated to MOT and her ongoing struggle with the evil council and the need to find accomodation, I will bow out gracefully.

Should anyone wish to discuss the interesting points that MOT's case has raised, I will be posting a thread in DT - where discussion is allowed.
Excuse me whats the 'DT' board?

OMG, OK, I read it as......... I had not posted my thanks on this thread to say that Julia had helped me...... but I did not because it was nothing to do with this thread. I thought you was ahving a go at me. OMG. What a fool I am. I have PMT so please just ignore me as I am being to oversensetive today and have made a complete fool of myself.

I will go hide my head in shame. I am so very sorry, I think everyone is doing a wonderful job and so nice to see in this day and age (and we don't even get this support from our families so I do understand how important all of this is - especially from stangers). Yah, I can't even go delete it as you quoted me. I shall wear it with my red face - all of them.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: If it's any comfort Blue Monkey you've made me laugh out loud :D . And if MOT had £1 for everyone on MSE who's made a fool of themselves she wouldn't be in this situation now. Heck, if she had £1 from me for every time :o .....

Now go eat chocolate like a good little PM'er ;) . We promise not to upset you for the next few days :p .

MOT - am glad you've not got the flat. Where would we have our garden party  . Let's see what the HA have to offer :T .
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • This will be my last post on this thread and any subsuequent threads. I will continue to support MOT, she has my mobile and my email and I will always respond in any which way I can. MOT knows that she has my full emotional support and that will not waiver.

I am so distressed by replys to anyone who has not taken the majority view, that is their choice whether one agrees or not. It also can be valuable in viewing an argument from a different point of view, even it is diametrically opposed to the one the concensus hold. Nothing has been posted that has been defamatory to anyone, bar the PM to Pania, that distressed her, which I would never condone.

Many many of us have made mistakes and oh my goodness I have made more than my fair share but sadly it has not ever been favourable to me.

I will be very honest here -( something my ex-husband would/will probably use against me) when I was made homeless I lived in temporary accomodation. I must have been a real card when my removal vehicle was a horsebox! It was a shock but on the previous thread I stated a home is not the four walls it is what you make of it.It was no luxury and probably the same or similar state as MOTs flat. During that time every other advert was for the "new" child tax credit. I applied, I received it, not at one point did I think that it was necessary to tell this to the HB office. It was one govt. department to another. Now I am wiser than I was then.

It transpired I should have done, I was done for Fraud, something that cannot be exponged from my now Criminal Record for the sum of £1,230. I am not saying this is what MOT has or may have or what ever permutation anyone wants to put on this statement, it is my life and what happened to me.

My point is we all do things in all innocence without malice but ignorance is not a defence and maybe posters should sit back and think that if they are not availed of all the facts, sometimes they are unable to come to a reasonable conclusion.

I am walking away and hoping that a certain balance prevails - will I stop reading, knowing me I doubt it but as Mr Flowers said; " you can do no more, you have given what you can and your contribution has been exemplary, time to give others opinion a break and deal with what MOT needs you for and nothing else."

I leave if I may thanking every single person who has contributed in any which way positive or negative, though the positives have had greater sway and fully wish the ulitmate - a psositve outcome for MOT and the twins for a happy and stable future.

Thank you for your post, SF.

There were some different views posted in this thread, and I too have not liked the negative responses to them...although to be honest I didn't feel brave enough to say anything.

I also support MOT and have been in touch with Pania, but I do think a different view is valuable in helping to see a whole picture. That's not a slight against anyone - but in every situation there are always different views and it's sad to see a small minority not respecting them.

I'm sure your contribution has been utterly invaluable to MOT and you've set such a good example of friendship and support in this situation. :)

I agree SF, I have responded to some comments, and on afterthought perhaps could have been a bit more valid with my thoughts. I wish MOT all the best as I also am going to bow out of this thread as I have a lot going on with my son at the moment, see ambersands new signature strip

I will pop back in to check on the progress of MOT and your lovely twins, I will continue to pray for a happy ending for you.

    Love and best wishes
    sasp, and family xxxx

Pania - this is absolutely unbelievable!!! Apart from adoring this song and its lyrics - I was playing Lee Mead's new album (Christmas present from the twins) in the car last night and singing to the words of this very song which he sings beautifully:dance: and I actually said to the twins that this song could have been written for me!!!!!!!

    Pania,
this is also one of my favourite songs and yes you are right, it could be the MOT Anthem. Having read the lyrics with MOT in mind I'm afraid I became rather emotional and had to reach for a stiff one (drink that is). I've been through so many boxes of Kleenex since this all started!
