Also have had PTD for the house in HH back today and it has agreed with the rent being quoted however, the police have suggested that I think again as it has a very high crime rate (drug addicts, car theft and even prostitution!!!), so will be looking again in this weeks St Albans papers and also await PTD for the house in St A that I viewed last Saturday am (amongst the chaos of moving!).

By the way rachandrog, did you get my pm about your house?

    Hi booboo,

Took the PTD into SADC yesterday for the house on Sat, and text the LL to let him know to which he replied 'that was great and hope it goes well' so fingers crossed for PTD coming up at the correct rate! Although having had the HH one back at the correct price then I shouldn't think there will be a problem with this - it is a little dearer but then St A is and the area in which it is situated is far better!

I have a false sense of security at the moment being safe and warm and comfortable at my friends. I know this is only for the short term but outwardly I feel so comfortable, inwardly I dread the move again and the lack of adult company in the evenings - I know it has to be done, but I just crave normality - the feeling of being secure, safe, comfortable and wanted. But, if I manage to get this house then the plus sides are: I-T is nearby, schools are excellent for twins in September and the area is so nice so twins and I hopefully will make nice friends. Also hopefully the children at school will be the sort that won't bully Adam. Whilst the interior of the house is tired by the time I have given it a good clean, hung curtains and put my furniture in it will be very homely. Then I just to need to get myself better and find a part-time job.

Please do not feel compelled to rush yourself back into working and instead take the time that you actually need to give yourself time to heal properly so that when you eventually are well enough to go back you are also well enough and strong enough to stay there. You have been through so much already and you really should have some time just to rest and take stock and actually enjoy the security once you have moved before you even consider making plans. :D

Keep on being positive. This is probably a more difficult time than before in some ways because as you say you have a false sense of security from having someone else there to sound off on.

Hopefully the answer will be yes, and always remember; it may be a house now, but you can make it a home. I'm sure there are plenty of volunteers to wield a paintbrush or two. In fact, that's one of the few things I can help with. Fair sized collection of tins of paint in my outhouse!

You're worried about being alone? I think you might need to call on the police for crowd contr ol to marshall all the wellwishers from MSE who will want to see the house :rotfl: (and have a good nosey and a gossip and give you a hug). Don't forget that they'll still be loads of people on here too when you get a bit lonely - and if you're near IT well.....:rotfl: I'm sure once you're settled you'll be able to meet people.

Thanks CD, I have been told this many times but when I have a good day I seem to think I could take on the world and that is when I start to think about taking a new job - Ampersand will bear me out on this though in that she rang me yesterday pm and I had done one of my falling asleep at the drop of a hat episodes, so I obviously need to be able to stop doing that or it could be dangerous! When we are in our new home I know that doing some exercise will be good for beating the depression and also help me to lose some of this weight that has piled on over the past year or so.

Now that WOULD be a help! It appears to be all woodchip paper on the walls originally painted white but definatley could do with a new coat of paint to freshen it up and look cleaner and brighter! Thank you xx

I sincerely hope that when we are in and settled that as many of you as possible will be able to come and visit/stay. If not all at once then whenever you can - as I-T has said before 'mia casa su casa' xx
