Thanks for that info Queenie - should make reading the threads while doing a million and one other jobs (like brushing DD's hair before school) alot easier. I wonder what other settings I can play with ......

Well, this afternoon hasn't been very Old Style. Still I didn't spend a penny of my own money! :D Walked up to see my grandpa with dog in tow. Spent 2.5hrs of him talking about the old days. Bless him. He doesn't want a 90th birthday party in August because he wouldn't know who to invite. I pointed out that my mum was organising it at our house, so who ever my mum invites will come. Tough. :D:D

Just before I left my grandpa, I told him that I was probably going to have fish and chips for supper - so he suggested that he joined me, so long as I went and got the food! Excellent, with him paying. 2hrs later, I got home!

OH phoned me to say that I've got an interview next week! Hurrah! More interview practice. Must book a hair appointment tomorrow, otherwise I'll look like a scarecrow that makes Worzel Gummidge look neat and tidy! :)

    :hello: Good morning!

Still wet and grey here but at least it's cool ;)

Not sure what I'm doing today but if all else fails to inspire, then I'll be playing with my sewing machine (have an old Prima pattern of a skirt that I'm going to have go at - although I'm not really into sewing clothes :o If it turns out ok, it'll do for housework/sitting in the garden if nothing else LOL )

What's on your To Do list for today?

    Menu plan needs doing.
    Ebay posting to do
    And the list goes on.........

need to make a loaf today and plan dinner (freezer leftovers probably!) :D

a bit of ironing and a whip round of the housework should do me this morning....so might do a rework of the budget (again! i think im becoming obsessed!)

i might get on to a bit of scrapbooking later this afternoon as i havent really had much time for it of late

My list today starts with getting the bin bags out, it's a pink bag week so that's all the plastic and cans off to be re-cycled.
Blue skys here so 10 minutes bug hunting in the garden before starting all my ebay packing, I have 27 things to post so I turn the kitchen into a jumble of bubblewrap boxes and packing peanuts.
Eating out - so no dinner to think about.

    Morning All

My day involves finding a recipe for & making blue cheese biscuits as a belated fathers day present for my dad tomorrow (it's the first time I've seen him since then, honest!) but will probably have to walk upt to Tesco for some of the ingredients, that'll tkae it's time as I am now roughly the size of a small killer whale & get overtaken by pensioners with zimmer frames:rolleyes: Hubby has left me a note to water the front garden which involves humping watering cans back & forth:p. Got one laundry load to put through and f I can find the energy I may dust the bedrooms but I fear yesterdays late night may catch up with me this afternoon....zzzzzzzzzzzz..........zzzzzzzzzz......

    Morning all, today hmmmm....

At 10am this morning I've got to take DD in to school late for a "Reception Class Induction"! Apparently this involves finding out how reception classes work and meeting her new teacher with the opportunity to purchase school uniform. Since the uniform for the nursery was £8 per item I'm not looking forward to the cost - Asda here I come! ;)

So when I finally get back from the school I have a normal to-do list :
    - Ironing (although this could be put off until tomorrow while I finish doing the rest of the laundry)
    - LOL whites
    - Paint shelves for the bathroom with Gloss (yes they are still sitting in the kitchen just undercoated :o)
    - Find the bottling instuctions to type up/post for Lillbet
    - ebay parcels so that they can be posted tomorrow - but only the ones I've received payment for.

If I have any time left I want to start editing pictures for my relisting listings. Instead of relisting the items individually, I'm going to list them as lots (all the keyrings, all the badges, all the books) to save on listing fees and hopefully increase the chance of sales.

Off to get daughter washed and dressed and then too battle with her hair

Getting new built in wardrobes and everything! :T
