Hello all:hello:
Well done on getting to your maternity leave Lillibet. Iremeber all that lovely sorting and cleaning before the baby. I seem to remember cleaning all the gaps in the kitchen with bleach and an old toothbrush.
We've been very old style this weekend when deciding on our last minute holiday. Have a miniscule budget, so we've taken a family decision to try out a bit of camping. We've bought a second hand tent from ebay, and will give it a go. lets just hope the weather improves. I don't fancy 4 kids the oh and me all wet cold iand miserable. Wondering if I can take the breadmaker with me?
Or the slowcooker? Hmmm..........0 -
Rage in Eden - console yourself with the fact that if she has to brag about her belongings she must be a very insecure little person. I do understand how you feel though. Galling isn't it?Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
F U Fund currently at £2500 -
thank you all
well if i tell you that she goes home at lunchtime to bleach her toilet (why not overnight like normal people) AND she is forever jumping on and off the scales with wailing ............ (she's probably breathed in and put on half-an ounce....). last year she gave her hubby a list to get her for hir birthday (all from harvey nicks of course) and moaned when he missed one item off the list (of 20 expensive items).......... she is very shallow............But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. If it all gets too much Rage just keep saying to yourself... "proud to be a prav, proud to be a prav" and boast about whatever you last greatest deal was....
Or bring in to work delicious cakes and breads, all HM of course and sit there eating them in front of other people... but only take enough for you!oooh look only about 220 posts and I got round to doing my Avatar already!!0 -

Can I have a brag????????
£250 on a handbag is nothing (quite sad really)
This weekend I made my first ever cake! Made pasta for the first time and made my own Tortillas!
Not bad for a 40 year old! :T
My OH is enjoying her pregnancy sick leave at the moment. Official maternity starts in 3 weeks time and i'm sure she spends all day cleaning the house. Its absolutely immaculate(sp?). Top girl.0 -
Don't forget eyeopener that you can cut tortillas up into wedges and bake in the oven until they are crispy and they are gorgeous tortilla chips.........
and whre on earth do you get your handbags from?
oh, for the imminent birth ones amongst us - Money Box Live - Radio 4 NOW - all about maternity rights. I am listening intently because we are counting the days until i can do THE TEST - not that it will be positive as it wasn't last time.........But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0 -
