  • Morning Guys!

Hospital this morning, then home to rest up as still not feeling great.

Cleaner is due this morning, so should all be done by the time we get back home. WM is on with bedding and another load to go on after. DW will go on after I finish my cuppa.

Seems very cold here today and the grit lorry has just been round in the cul-de-sac:confused:

I did get some pork chops out for dinner last night but they smell abit wiffy this morning so have thrown them. Have other stuff in though.

Looks like we have got rid of DD all of Saturday till Sunday lunchtime:D ...she has planned to go shopping with 2 friends, then back for a sleepover. She has asked for her pocket money early:rolleyes:

Have been invited out for dinner on the Saturday and a Chef party:confused: ...are these any good...sound expensive! OH is going to stay at his mates with the kids, then we are (hopefully) going to the party. Will take some nibbles and a bottle for the host.

Hope everyone is well and OK.

    Hugs to all.

    PP

Elona - LOL at your DH, makes me glad i have an electric blanket instead!!!

mioliere - i religiously do my click sites every morning, and as most know i enter as many comps as i can - not sure what i wouldve done at christmas if i hadnt, my comps and clicks have def been worth all the effort!!! If you need any help/advice, just shout!!!

charlies mum - hope you get the heating back!!!

furrypig - paypal is really easy to get your money from, the only prob i have with them is their fees, but not a lot you can do about that, and paypal does make ebaying a lot easier, cos you get your money almost immediatley, so no waiting for cheques to clear/arrive before sending things out.

PP - good luck at the hospital xx

((HUGS)) to anyone ive missed, or who would just like one!!!

    Morning all

having a going-to-work-late morning so that dd11 can recover form her torchwood induced late night. I stubbed my toe really badly running across the living room with a basket of laundry for the airer and coming across a glass that she had left in the middle of the room. Was she sympathetic? not really - hopping about in front of the hallowed tv of torchwoodness is much much worse than breathing loudly apparantly.

Full day in court today so will probably get out of w*rk late. Need to check the alarms as well - pressed the panic button yesterday when one of the detainees got chatty and .... well nothing. by the time I realised that no one was coming he had been restrained but it could have been worse.

the whizzed yogurt has not gone lumpy this morning so I'm going to go into proper production - i thought I might freeze the starter in ice cube trays - has anyone else tried this?

have a great day everyone :)
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
  • Morning all,

SOMO wish I had been to Hawaii too - could do with the break. Hope the jet lag doesn't hang around for long.
donny gal ((((hugs)))) to you and yours. Dementia is a dreadful disease. My gran and uncle had it and it was so painful to see bright, happy, intelligent people fade away.

Was on a training day in Manchester yesterday and it's really thrown my week out. Job No 2 today (yuk!). He keeps lining up jobs that he can't be bothered to do and are very involved meaning lots of phone calls, downloading lots of info, etc. I really wish I could jack this job in but I need the money.

No idea what's for dinner but it will be something from the freezer.

Been looking around my bedroom and I have spotted quite a few things that I could Boot Sale. I just need to find one in my area now! :D

    Have a thrilling Thursday. xx

  • Change of plan....FIL has fallen over and OH has just gone round there and called an ambulance. His foot looks broken (sticking out) and he has bone cancer so weaker bones. Have called the clinic and left a message asking if they can see me tomorrow. Hope FIL is ok...he was only at Guys yesterday having treatment for the cancer.

PP is it a Pampered Chef party? If so I have been to a couple and they are enjoyable, the stuff is expensive but some items are worth it. Best bit is they cook something to demonstrate all the stuff and you get to eat it at the end.

I had one once but I never make people feel obliged to buy anything.

Sorry to hear that PP - Best wishes for your FIL.

    Morning!

Another day off work thanks to this stupid labyrinthitis. If I sit nd do nothing then I'm fine, if I try and move about the world starts spinning like mad and I feel sick! Meal plan is all out of kilter as I had planned for OH to use up some of the sausages in the freezer. Unfortunately, they are all pork, which I don't eat, so heaven knows what I'm going to make!

Might do a couple of loads of washing and route through adn list some clothes on ebay!
  • Morning everyone :hello:

Change of plan today as Dtwin2 is off school with a bad throat and temperature.
I should manage to get all the filing finished that I started last night. I found so many receipts and manuals for stuff we no longer have and I've updated the girls' scrapbooks.

2 loads of washing to do and need to buy some coal as FIL forgot to bring us our free logs this week.
Managed to get 4 packs of raw king prawns last night for 30p each so have rearranged the freezer again.
Ham and mushroom omlettes tonight *oink* :o

SOMO1 I'm glad you had a lovely time and welcome back.
DG...I stopped going to see my Grandad when his Alzheimers got really bad. Visits just distressed him cos he didn't know who we were. (((HUGS)))
    PenPin....You haven't mentioned your chickens recently. I do hope they're ok.
PenPen....I hope you have a better day. Is OH home tommorrow? Sing loud and proud to those cows. :D
Churchmouse....Have you been swallowed by your breadmaker? :p

    Bye for now
