mornin all,
Meant to be raining heavily here again today, too dark to see yet. Stressed glad you had a good time xx
W**k today, quite busy so hopefully time will pass quick, DD and I have got the dentist today, the dentist only works wed - fri term time and school hours, so both DD and I have to take an afternoon off for a check up  .
Got meat pie chips peas and carrots for tea, sainsbugs delivery coming tonight, will have a quick swish and swipe before work.
Hugs to all those that need them, special one to DG, so sad about your dad xx0 -
Morning all
STRESSED OUT glad you had a good holiday
DONNY so sad about your Dad, I look after people with Dementia and it is such a tragic, terrible disease. You are welcome to PM me.
Have been awake since 5.15 when the s*****g fatcat wanted to go out and psycho cat decided to come in. Tried to get back to sleep but psycho cat thought it would be fun to scratch the bottom of our bed:mad: . I wouldn't mind but I'd fed him! There is definitely a reason he goes out all night, he's such a pest. He's quite happy and has a cat kennel for when he wants to curl up.
I am on nights for next two nights. Need to get organised. BM has died so need to get some dough in food processor. Also will make some bolognaise sauce in the slow cooker today for tomorrow's dinner. Am taking DS out to see some friends after school and then he has swimming so will have tea out.
Have a good day all :A xxxx0 -
Good morning my friends!
Managed to get on here first thing today which makes me happy (sad isn't it!). I ave jst nipped onto the Boots site and bought a couple of sale items. I went through my present cupboard yesterday so I know the sort of thing I need.
I now have a pile of things I don't need so think I will have to try ebay not sold anything for years on there and keep putting it off as it seems to take s long to list, photo ech item then package it up and send it off! But I should think of it as a healthy hobby that brings in money (and I have spent lots this month!) Think I might have to try the eba board to find out abot paypal. I wonder if it's easy to get your money out a paypal account???!!
Hope to catch up later
Hugs to all xxx0 -
Good Morning All
Was a beautiful sunny day here yesterday and now its back to damp and horrible.
Regarding 'helpful husbands' mine does well, is making less mistakes now - think I would rather have a helpful but useless one than one that doesnt help at all.
Nothing exciting here planned - mainly filing. Need to phone the vets though as our dog has messed his bed which is very unusual and looks like he has vomited blood (opps really sorry about the too much info so early). He appears fine in himself but will get him up there asap.
Am off out tonight with old work friends, going to Macaroni Grill which none of us have ever been to before so OH is in charge of dinner.
Have a great day.
x
Furrypig - I feel exactly the same about ebay - I guess the more you do it the easier it gets - have got a load of stuff here (when I sort it) that will make money and after reading about peoples success' on here I am definately going to start it big time after half term. (Needs must as well)0 -
Furrypig
It is really easy to get your money out of Paypal, and if you withdraw over £50, it is free to do it.
PM me if you need any info. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Hi all, and good morning to everyone
I've just got into work and have realised I am wearing a top that is covered in some sort of splatters - and it was straight off the drier this morning too, so heaven knows what they are! How embarrassing - looks like I'll have my sweater on all day! I'm teaching all day today - starting at 8am - 9am, then in the lab with the undergraduates 11 am to 5 pm (or 4.30 if we can persuade them to just get on with the experiments and not mess about!)
. It's a nice break from the norm, but it is very tiring.
Elona, you're DH and mine aren't related are they :rotfl: that so sounds like something mine would do too.... :rotfl:
donny-gal (((hugs)))
Amie - I've been bootsing too.... I'm nearly sorted for christmas now :rotfl:
jannieannie - I think it's true when they say that dogs have owners and cats have staff!:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
Howdy folks,
Got up early this morning and washed floors etc. Mass was on the island so I went to that. XDIL & DGS came to visit and left just before lunch. I washed the upstairs louvers and made two slices. One for XDIL for doing my hair and other to share with my sister who I"m meeting tomorrow. Like true tightwads we just buy the coffee at the cafe and bring out our little container of home cooked goodies. It's my turn this time.
The rain has returned again. Started after lunch. This has been the wettest summer up this way for quite some time. Been watching tennis. Bratty Lleyton Hewitt's playing atm.
Donnygal My Mum died 2 years ago and she had dementia too. Dreadful disease but try and take comfort they don't know about it. It's harder for their loved ones seeing them like this. I hope they find a cure soon.
Stessedout Welcome back. Haribo's had a boob job, CM has developed a fetish for bread, Odds got her toe chopped off, Rzl's doing ballet in her tutu and leg warmers, If I think of any more I"ll pop back later.
Mrs Mix:hello:
<hugs> to those sick. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Morning :hello:
The rain held off long enough for us to have a fire last night, all the bits of paper, wood and plants that were lying around are now a big pile of ash. We had 2 massive rosemary bushes, we cut one down (it was more like tree-size) because it was taking over the veg patch. Burned that too - it smelt lovely
I have some ironing to do but first I want to spend the morning in the garden so please don't rain, please don't rain, please don't rain :rotfl:
Mr tru's day off is tomorrow, if it rains we're off to our fave garden centre to buy all our suppliesBulletproof0 -
morning all
wish it was me that had just got back from haWAII as could do with a good holiday, actually wish i wasgoing today as my man who is fitting the kitchen is coming at 8am and ive had to empty the cubaords as well as the double built in pantry that hes going to have to knock down which is going to cause major mess.
ive followed loads of the tips on here and thankgoodness i did with the ammount of decluttering i have been doing over the last few weeks. even when i think ive got rid of the clutter theres MORE AND MORE rearing its ugly head. cant wait for new kitchen but ther mess is gonna be TERRIBLE lol.
elona- my oh does the same thing as yours ie emptying the dishwasher when it hasnt washed yet and putting dirty cleaning cloths back in the clean rag bag. it drives me potty.
thankgoodness i got work today anyway while wall is being knocked out, do you think if i leave the broom and vac out the bloke will get the hint lol.
hope everyone has a good and not to stressful day anyway. xxxx0 -
Good morning everyone,
Havnt read the thread yet, but ((HUGS)) to donny gal and Ronan K Fan from yesterday xxx
SOMO1 - welcome back!!!
Just one here today, so not too busy - hes only 7 months old, so although needs a lot of attention, he does sleep quite a bit, and also doesnt move very far!!!
Need to get the BM on, just put the WM on and want to clean the kitchen, but will get that done when the LO has his sleep. Bins have been put out, i didnt do it last week cos they arrived at 9, last year they were here about 12 so i had thought i had plenty of time. Luckily i recycle a lot so dont have loads to put out each week.
Thats enough drivel from me - have a great day everyone,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0
