YES!! I was one of the lucky people who where in the shaw tonight!!!
I enjoyed meeting some of our forum members over there ( What a lovely group of people you are, aren't you?!!)
I loved the shaw. I loved seeing Martin and talking to him. I loved all!!
To me, money saving is the new religion and Martin is the prophet of this religion!
What a lucky person I am!! I am speachless!!
Thunderbird, we were privileged to meet you, along with Beate, John, Browntoa and Noo and the other contributors and audience members whose names I forget. The funniest remark of the whole day came from Martin when he heard me talk....she speaks with a Scottish accent but doesn't sound Scottish on the forums0 -
I cringed. It was too light-hearted. Silly jokes (with "sorry" after each one), funny faces, gormless looks. Oh dear.
These are serious topics and should be handled seriously; "Working Lunch" and "Moneybox" have far better formats.
And to suggest that the fraudulent use of Tesco receipts to gain Clubcard points was merely "naughty"? (I think that was the word used).
I expected better.0 -
Using the internet access at Whiteleys and going for an early night as I am contemplating being a professional audience member by going to see the Wright Stuff being filmed in the morning0
