I managed to miss last week's show so this was the first one I had seen. I thought it was really good but I agree with kbh that I didn't like the initial look of the show, with audience standing - thought it was very 'Top Gear'. It needs to develop its own character and I'm sure, with input from this forum, it will do. In terms of content, there's nothing quite like it on the box.0

Bogof_babe, what a fantastic idea, a factsheet. I know a number of people who do not have the internet, they would consider it a luxury item/or afraid of being scammed etc, I want Martin to reach out to those people, they are probably the most in need especially if they don't know about the basics, I want Martin to shout as loud as he can next week, "please consider very carefully before taking a loan from a doorstop lender" or a consolidation loan.
Martin - Next week you mentioned that you are doing about credit cards, are we going to see the DEBT CHARITY phone numbers on the screen, I think it would help, I never knew until I came on MSE that you could get help from a charity debt company."Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age. Well done on your second show Martin :T & Well done fellow MSEr's who took part :T .
I have to say im not keen on the standing audience it looks like everyone is ready to leave. A more relaxed atmosphere on set would make alot of difference.
Keep tweeking it, I know its early days...but I have to say I switched over to Watchdog halfway through..... Its just easier to follow (sorry Guys) But I will tune in again next week to see how the show progresses.

I missed last weeks show but watched this weeks with my girlfriend.
It was enjoyable for me, a little repetative of the website and e-mail which is understandable.
However my girlfriend is not into MSE/Money Saving at the moment.
Her main issue with the show as not knowing the history of the website/ethos of not being partial/swayed by companies was as she puts it "This show is in Tescos pocket"
Ok, so the show had parts about how to turn the clubcard points into 4 times value but it is driving people to Tesco.
Maybe at the start it could be explained about the info we see on the MSE website about how its funded.
Looking back at it now Tesco was mentioned a lot in this show.
I hope Martin checks this thread as I don't think my girlfriend would tune in again unless she is with me due to the amount Tesco was mentioned during the show and her feelings of they would be somehow funding the show.
Maybe mention a company or workaround once in a show to spread it out more.
