Same here. I just know that I'll eventually be screened out of any survey about 'Smart' mobile phones and cars, so I don't even start them. They're always pretty boring anyway. Particularly the cars! Just like most car TV adverts-which I always fast-forward through!
I generally pick and choose my surveys; only doing those I think I stand a chance of being allowed to complete-and being over 65, I find I am screened out more and more because of my age! As soon as I input that, then more often than not, it's 'Thanks, but no thanks!' :(

i always get screened out of ones i think will be good, but kept on for rubbish ones like financial products. i tend to do lots of food/shopping related ones in the hope that they will lead to some sort of product testing

I would like to warn people to beware of sending for postal vouchers such as "Love to Shop" from Toluna.
I have had a horrendous nine months trying to get £15 Love to Shop vouchers from Toluna. There was a time they came from France, then it was Liverpool. Then the last lot I ordered didn't arrive at all. OK, things do get lost in the post, but I asked Toluna several times and they told me there was a delay, then they told me they had been sent months before. I needed Toluna to either report the matter to the Royal Mail or provide me with all the details, time and place of posting etc, and Toluna just blatantly refused to do anything. There replies took longer and longer and became ruder and ruder. There are lots of better companies out there, I certainly won't be working for free for Toluna anymore.

I have gone off them now since i got enough to get my voucher, they just send so many surveys that are either rubbish or not relevant. I dont think I will continue with them and delete my account if my amazon voucher ever gets emailed to me

That's really strange, I have had two sets of Love to shop vouchers posted out and they both arrived within 3 weeks. Have you tried complaining to the post office?

You're not the only one - although not quite 9months yet! I ordered a Love2Shop in February and still not received it. Chased it up after 8 weeks & got a reply that basically said it's been processed and can take up to 8 weeks to arrive (reading between the lines - it's not our problem!) 3 months now and still waiting!

Does anyone else find that the surveys accessible from Toluna's Home Page rarely have a survey number?

Does anyone complete those without a number? I never do as it would be impossible to track.

If you do these, you should try and get a screenshot of the survey intro page before it disappears. If you feel the survey is relevant to you and you stand a chance of completing it without being screened out, you can always go straight to your Toluna points account after completing it, where the survey will be listed right at the top (along with it's number) as 'Pending' but you must remember the survey reward points, as they are never listed in 'Pending'. That's why you need a screenshot of the Intro page. I keep track of all my Toluna Surveys like this. (Of course, you should always take a screenshot of the completion page of a survey too and it doesn't hurt to take regular screenshots of your pending points account as well.)
(By the way, when taking screenshots of the Survey Intro and Completion pages, always include the address bar at the top of your browser when editing. Putting the details of the survey onto the screenshot using an image editing program is a good idea too.)
If you use Toluna with care, keep track of absolutely everything - with screenshots, etc., then, if you don't mind waiting months for your points and rewards, then you will get far more surveys from Toluna than anywhere else, even if they are slave labour! :rotfl:

Thanks gemini for your detailed post, very interesting.

Like you say, for the time and value of points involved for completing Toluna's surveys, it definitely is slave labour.

Especially if you're going to the extra trouble of taking screenshots of each survey completed.

I think I will just stick to completing surveys which do have a number, keeping the invitation email in a special folder. Don't mind doing some on Toluna's Home Page, but think I will stick with doing only the surveys which have been given a number.

    Thanks very much for posting.

Don't forget your survey completion screenshot! :D And do check out your points in Surveys pending. Where it says 'You' at the top of your home page, scroll down to 'Points' and set the dates from the beginning of your owed surveys in the calendar to the left, then click 'Go' (choose to just view the 'Surveys' rather than all the sponsored polls and so-called 'Free Draws') and you can see all your completed surveys, plus their numbers.
