I stopped using Toluna, got sick of being screened out after spending ages filling in surveys. I don't think I ever accumulated enough points to get a voucher, but I did get a couple of product tests.

I much prefer Valued Opinions (had around £200 from them!) and Communispace. I also use Populuslive and YouGov although I'm yet to reach their high payout thresholds.

I was considering signing up to Toluna but am having 2nd thoughts now after reading this. Is it really a bad as it sounds on here? Sounded so promising on their site!

I think most survey sites are frustrating one way or another, ToLuna are quite slow in sending out vouchers but in general they do arrive without chasing (I have never had to chase them). I stick with them because there is a steady stream of survey invites (although you will often not qualify). I find if I don't qualify this will be after the first few sets of questions.

If it's any help to you, I previously put together some information about some survey sites (it's fairly long!) but you may find it useful. There may be the odd bit of info that is out of date (i'm not sure) as I compiled the information at the beginning of this year.

Thanks for your reply. I might give it a try and see how I get on. BTW I tried to view the link you posted but it didn't work. Perhaps it's because I'm on a mobile at the mo tho!? Thanks

I do contribute to Toluna (maybe more fool me?) and I find them arogant in the extreme. If you query a problem with them (and there are many) they very very seldom admit their mistake. It's nearly always 'your fault'!
    (I have previously mentioned this)
I ordered £30 of Debenhams vouchers from them last year, but they sent a £10 HMV voucher!
Not OK, because the 'exchange rate' is worse for that than what I ordered and also HMV are in dire straits and not at this point accepting vouchers.
But Toluna are adamant that I did not order Debenhams and they will not change despite that I alerted them to their mistake moments after they acknowledged my order!
They will do nothing about the HMV vouchers being unusable just saying HMV expect to accept vouchers sometime!

Don't give Toluna and inch they certianly won't give you one!

I really don't understand how you can have received HMV instead of Debenhams Vouchers! When I order a voucher from Toluna (usually Love To Shop) I always take a screenshot of my voucher order immediately and then check straight after, in the relevant section of 'My Rewards' or whatever, to make sure the pending voucher is the correct one and take a screenshot of that also. Then I have double proof of what I ordered. I check periodically that the pending voucher has not changed, in just the same way that I check on all my 'Pending' points, of which I also have screenshots - of every completed survey. There is no arguing with that sort of evidence! ;)
