I have received HMV vouchers from Toluna, although I ordered Debenhams vouchers.
Toluna repeatedly say that once ordered they cannot be changed. Although I pointed up their error immediately and they didn't deliver the vouchers for nearly 2 months!
So as HMV is in receivership can I now get them to take the vouchers back! They haven't responded when I tell them the vouchers are worthless.
They seem to be a law unto themselves!

Difficult to say what you can do now. You should always take a screenshot of your orders; indeed anything involving Toluna! Then you have proof of all your dealings with them. (Always include the address line of your browser in the screenshot too) Personally I think if you prefer vouchers, then choosing Love to Shop Vouchers, that can be spent pretty well anywhere is best, or Amazon vouchers. You'll wait just as long for them though!

Your order for vouchers should be showing under 'You', Rewards (at bottom of list).

Select date and click 'Show'. Contact Toluna again, as the reward you offered is clearly displayed.

Unfortunately I have asked them repeatedly to correct the error (inc' the very first time only minutes after they 'confirmed' the wrong voucher!). But they continue to say once ordered they cannot be changed.
I would also note the Debenhams voucher (which I have ordered before and since) is of greater value prorata then the HMV. Maybe that has something to do with it!
Now, of course they want to get rid of them fast as they don't want to be lumbered with dud vouchers!
Neither do I, through their mistake!
So I am looking for the 'big stick'

well, just over a month and logged on to 80000 points, ordered my amazon voucher a 4 - 6 week wait is RIDICULOUS, but at least its something i can look forward to.. :/
  • I've also just logged in to my account to discover I'd clocked up 80,000 points, so have just sent off for another Amazon voucher.

I know Toluna has its problems and its critics, but 2-3 times a year I end up with a £15 Amazon voucher for something I play with on my lunch break and I'm really happy with that.

yeh there is the waiting but i have had about 4 random surveys that ended up with product trials so far, and also surveys to join other sites, as long as i get my voucher within the time i have no problem with them.

not had any of their own product tests though, they dont seem to have many samples to send out

4-6 weeks is optimistic, it often takes 8 weeks which is frankly ridiculous. My last Amazon voucher took 10 weeks but they had emailed those of us waiting to say they had a problem, to be fair. However, they do always pay and they have more surveys available than any other panel - if you want to do them :)

i really hate surveys about mobile phones and broadband. i like being able to just close the survey if i dont like it and it disappears

Same here. I just know that I'll eventually be screened out of any survey about 'Smart' mobile phones and cars, so I don't even start them. They're always pretty boring anyway. Particularly the cars! Just like most car TV adverts-which I always fast-forward through!
I generally pick and choose my surveys; only doing those I think I stand a chance of being allowed to complete-and being over 65, I find I am screened out more and more because of my age! As soon as I input that, then more often than not, it's 'Thanks, but no thanks!' :(
