That is very thorough, but a bit more than I can afford the time to do. For whatever reason in Toluna it happened. When I notified them, immediately they sent 'confirmation' of the order (about 20 mins after), I pointed it out. But they said they couldn't change it! Quite ridiculous - they can see I have ordered Debenhams many times before (as that's good value) so why would I choose HMV?! Of course HMV is better value for them - maybe even more so since I cannot use them!
Most unresponsive, unhelpful, unreasonable and arrogant.

Well I have found through experience that with Survey Companies who don't credit points immediately, it does pay to keep a thorough check on your completed surveys and points by taking screenshots.
I have noticed people extolling the virtues of Valued Opinions on here, but lately I've been having problems with them too. Increasingly, their surveys are not being rewarded immediately as they used to be - and with some surveys, it is taking more than two months for points to be added, if at all! I have had to chase up points with them quite a few times; although, to their credit, when this happens, they usually do upload your points manually. It takes a good few e-mails before this happens however! Another good reason to take screenshots they can't argue with!0 -
I did say I don't go that far, but I do take a quick check on my points totals with the various companies about once a week.
Mostly so I can claim when I reach a break point, but it has found out a few where my total has dropped without me having claimed anything!
My main bug bear is being dropped from a survey when all I have provided, to that point, are what is already in my profile. So if I am rejected on just that, I question why I was ever invited! My second is being bounced from a survey after answering maybe 20 or more questions and having spent some time doing it. Especially when my answers are obviously providing useful marketing information!
I guess my third is the appaulingly boring surveys which some expect me to answer accurately. In particular those with repeated large blank tables, sometimes 15x30, expecting me to mark many boxes with my choices! Mind numbingly bad.

Oh I do agree with you about the surveys in general! An awful lot are mind-numbingly boring! Sometimes I wonder just who the idiots are who compile them! My pet hates are the ones that expect you to work out how much money you have left over after having paid all your bills for the month! They want to know how much you pay for this bill and that, forgetting perhaps that many people pay some of their bills quarterly, half-yearly and sometimes annually! For a paltry amount of points they expect people to work out all their household expenses on a monthly basis! Well, they've got another think coming! When I see a survey going in this direction, I click 'em off pretty sharpish!
The grid ones are pretty terrible too. Particularly when all the headings are just along the top of the page and you have to keep scrolling up and down and sometimes from side to side too, when the grids are too wide for the screen, in order to see where to tick the correct boxes. I'm sure many of these surveys are just thrown together with very little thought. An awful lot of them have multiple choice questions that much of the time, don't apply to me at all and with no option for 'N/A' or even 'Don't know'! You have to tick something in order to move on with the survey! What use is that to the people needing the information? If I was responsible for obtaining marketing information with a company, I wouldn't pay some of these survey companies in washers!0 -
There used to be a section where you could check the surveys which you had completed along with those pending rewards.
Unfortunately it seems to have disappeared.
Anyone know where the list can now be found?0 -
if you look under welcome 'name' on left and scroll down you will see points0
