The unsubscribe button on my toluna emails is not responding. Is this normal for these people. I also notice that if you want to use the contact button you have to go through a whole form to do so. If indeed that works.
These are normally the sign of cowboys. Are they such a bad organisation. Just been reading a forum and they seem a suitable case for Watchdog.0 -
Just logged in and my vouchers ordered on 4th Sept were processed on 2nd October so four weeks exactly.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

I've never tried to unsubscribe so can't comment on that, but I've used the contact form before and it has worked ok (emailed to point out that a link didn't work and it got sorted).
Are they a bad organization? To be honest I find them no better and no worse than some of the other survey sites. I certainly find they are the most consistent source of surveys and vouchers. I joined in mid-Feb, since then I have claimed 10 £15 amazon vouchers: 7 of which have been processed (and spent!) and 3 are being processed, and at the moment I have enough points pending for another 3 vouchers. So a nice source of "pin money" for books and other treats.0 -
Got to about 6000 points and then logged in to find they had disappeared and my balance was zero! Tried to contact them but the website wouldn't send my query. I have now unsubscribed. I would not recommend this website to anyone. On the plus side, I was contacted by a company following a survey I completed and they are sending me some baby food to trial, so it wasn't a complete waste of time after all!0

I think Toluna are getting worse, I always keep completed surveys until the payment has been made, just checked through these and find 3 surveys have completely disappeared from my account and 4 have prize draw entry against them, considering the measly amount of points you earn per survey, then battling to get the points from them, wondering if they are worth bothering with. I have not had a reply from them.
I am shocked by how many posters have bad things to say about them.0 -

Do you take a screenshot of the last page of your completed surveys? Make a note of the survey number, points and date of completion on the screenshot (do it in your image editing program or Paint) and keep it in a separate folder. Also keep the original survey invitation. It's also a good idea to take a screenshot of the 'Pending' survey in your points section in your account on Toluna as soon as you complete a survey. I've had to resort to sending them these a few times now to get my missing points. It just adds to the time spent on Toluna overall and of course, making the points received worth far less!
On another point; don't you find the 'Quick' sponsored polls are very far from being 'Quick'? The more you do, the slower it all gets! It takes an age to complete the few they have on there now! It was far better with the old sponsored polls. You could get through those in no time at all! I don't do many Toluna surveys now; just the odd one that doesn't take much time, then it doesn't matter so much if I get 'Screened out' or not get the points for it. I used to find the sponsored polls made up the points somewhat, but it's really hard work now waiting for each page to load! Roll on the 80,000 points when I can get out of it all and good riddance!0 -
I keep survey invitation emails in a folder, and have one survey from June still not been rewarded.
For the few points on offer, it's hardly worth the hassle of taking screenshots of everything - too much time for too little reward!
Another annoying point about Toluna is that a survey invitation will advise that the survey will take, eg 10 minutes to completion, however when you reach the next screen the time stated increases significantly. Have noticed a lot recently.
Toluna is one of the poorer survey companies and I don't complete many of their surveys these days.0 -
I only keep all the original survey invitations, and delete them when payment is made.
I fully completed a survey last week, took 15 mins, had the code to type in at the end to validate participation, showed as prize draw entry, contacted them and they say the survey was terminated after 5mins.
Bombarded them yesterday with all the queries, stating that this is becoming a regular occurrence and asking them to look at my account to see if there is a problem. Their reply to the surveys completed but not showing on my account was, am I using more than one account, what! As for the prize draw entry instead of points, their reply
Usually, when you complete a survey, it is listed in your account with the the entry "project open" posted next to the number of the survey. Sometimes, it is possible that the participation status in your account is incorrectly displayed as "Prize Draw Entry" instead of “Project Open”, even if you have successfully completed the study. This happens because some of the surveys you take part in are hosted by our clients and there might be a routing problem when you are re-directed to the Toluna site. However, once we receive from our clients the list of participants who have completed the study, the status changes and the points are awarded.
I have had this reply before, and never got the points.
Surely if I am not the only one raising all these queries with them, they should know there is a problem with their system, and damn well sort it out. I have been with them for 4yrs and always had problems, so now feel it is time to chuck in the towel, it is just not worth the hassle.0
