  • I never really complained too much about Toluna and was happy enough with the site. But since their latest makeover the only surveys I get through to are ones I know I've already done before. All the other ones they say I've qualified for the full survey and then I just go through to one of the screens that says I don't fit the profile or the quota has just been reached. And then I go through to one of the "100 points instantly" surveys which I've already completed. I have no idea what's going on any more!

When I've finished a survey the 'free 100 points' survey always appears, with one of the sections loading............

Whatever I do, I can't get rid of it.

Another annoying thing about Toluna is that their email states that it will take a certain length of time to complete the survey, then when the next screen appears, there are another 10 minutes added.

I just delete them and do occasional one.

I'm trying to get up to the 80,00 mark so I can get my voucher and clear off.
I'm just doing the surveys that only take five or ten minutes or so and pay about 2-3,000 points, plus the sponsored polls.
However, the 'Free 100 points' profile update surveys that now appear at the ends of completed surveys: just complete them (after all, it's another 100 points) and even if there is nothing you want to change, send them as they are and you still get the 100 points immediately; (check your points at the top of your page; they're always added immediately.) I think these make up for the sheer lack of sponsored surveys on the site now (that's significant in itself doncha think?) ;)

I do it exactly the same way :)

Good for you. You just have to use a bit of intelligence and not let Toluna use you!
  • Having an ongoing e-mail dispute with Toluna about a survey I did in June. They eventually said they have credited the points to my account, and sure enough they show up there in the account but my grand total has not increased. I know this for a fact as I keep a running total every day that I go on the site and 3000 points would be pretty obvious.

Write and tell 'em then. Keep it going. I took to keeping screenshots of the completion of all my Toluna Surveys ages ago, and also screenshots of 'Pending' unpaid surveys in my account. As soon as I've completed a survey, I take the screenshots and write on them all the relevant information in my image editing program. I keep the original survey invitations too. It's a pain and very time-consuming, but it sure pays off in the long run. I've settled many a dispute between Toluna and myself with these, but to have to keep doing things like this and for so little points, is the reason I want out. It's just not worth all the hassle. :(

Well I will keep it going til I get some satisfaction but it's very annoying and time-consuming. Trouble is I can't really prove it as there doesn't seem to be any way to check - I can't see a running total in my account and I don't have the time to add it all up manually. Think I've probably had enough hassle with Toluna now and soon as I can claim I'll be off.

Toluna vouchers are coming though a bit quicker then they used to do (4/5 weeks instead of 8), but the points from surveys are taking ages to be given into the account.

Also the new site is rubbish, I go from having 8 surveys available to none to 8 all in the space of a few clicks.

I have been a member of Toluna since Feburary, but didn't really use it much until April/May. I redeemed my points for an Amazon voucher on 6th July and again today(after being stuck in the mid-high 70's for about 2 weeks!), but still haven't recieved my first voucher yet. Has anyone had to wait this long for a voucher recently? A bit worried, after I noticed Kite2010 say they'd recieved theirs after 4/5 weeks.
