Toluna Discussion (merged)

It looks like the way they are adding survey points to our statements is a bit confusing. I checked my account today and I have finally had the points added for one survey. It showed up under the date I did the survey though, rather than the date the points were added. It used to show up with the date added. I knew I'd had something added as I'd just requested a voucher and had almost no points, then over a thousand when I logged in today, so I knew to look. If I'd had a larger number of points (where something being added isn't so obvious) and I'd only checked the top of my statement like I do normally, I wouldn't have noticed.
My statement history is also broken. I've emailed Toluna but no reply as usual. Can anyone select the dates they want to view? Whenever I try to type the dates into the boxes provided, the boxes go blank. I've tried clicking the little calendar thing next to the boxes but nothing happens, so I can't select a date that way. The statement only shows the last month by default, so if a survey was added to my account that I'd taken longer than a month ago, I'd never know because I can't check - and I've got tons of surveys over a month old that I'm waiting for!0 -
i changed the month on my statement and was able to view all the survey I had completed and which points were added etc:mad: 5 account to clear- £14580.47/£1074.90- 7.3% paid off
debt free nov 2012 before that I hope

Just wanted to warn you guys,
If you get a surver ID 1116307-UK, don't do it.
It's about a dog food with few questions and when you complete it shows "This is all the questions we need to ask you today" on Ipsos website and when it reaches back to Toluna website, it says "quota has reached..." In another words, you won't get paid for completing it.
Toluna is a goner!!! :mad:Money is not the root of all evil.
It depends on how you obtain it and how you use it.

It sounds like you are quite new to surveys.
I am afraid you will likely find quite a number of surveys will end this way. Many more you will find reject you early on or substantially in.
Complaints on these will often yeild a simple "Thanks for letting us know" with no regard for the time you may have spent on the failed survey. Also not taking account of the fact that the survey company have your basic profile and could have checked that before inviting you.
I find it quite frustrating, but overall the benefit still outwieghs the inconvenience and frustration.
So I would encourage you to press on.

I haven't received points from surveys in ages - getting a bit concerned now. I have attempted to try and keep the emails so I have the references but may have deleted some.
Still waiting for an amazon voucher too.
Ive not received any points credited to my account since toluna has merged, I went to check how much my points are and they have not changed since the merge, I am worried now I have done loads of surveys and the only thing showing on my account is prize draw entries, even thought i took loads of surveys for points.
Totally confused and annoyed to be honest! emailed toluna today to ask whats going on!0 -
I seem to recall an email stating that once they have merged with Ciao and everything is up and running that there would be new things to redeem points for and that Paypal would be one of them. Does anyone else recall that?
I emailed toluna to ask about paypal payments as being a member of both ciao and toluna I was using ciao to get money paid into my paypal account toluna sent me this email: Dear Member
Thank you for your email. Unfortunately since the merger between Ciao and Toluna, we no longer give the option of pay pal payments. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Kind Regards,
Sarah Brown

I had a CIAO account under 1 email and toluna under another email
I know something has happened as i now get toluna surveys on the email i used for CIAO but they haven't explained what happens to my CIAO money
I had £4 in CIAO, will this be transferred to Toluna?I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -
Sarah it'll have been added to your toluna points, I was in the same boat as both sites had different emails for me. Now they're merged my ciao cash became toluna points. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
