Toluna Discussion (merged)
Comments
-
I had a couple of focus group discussions 6/8 weeks ago and the 35000 points received were payments for these.
Wish there were more focus groups!0 -
Anyone get the £20 to paypal for a focus group back in September last year? I'm still waiting for it.Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740

Toluna take ages to send out vouchers - usually it takes 12 weeks although they tell you eight. They don't add points for every survey you do and now that Ciao has merged with their site they don't seem to be adding the points that were meant to be added when they converted the money from your Ciao site to their Toluna one.
And here's another goodie - they keep rasing the points that you need to get a voucher and not usually in a fair way. Say double the points does not get you double the value of an old voucher. Nice.
Rip off survey central is alive and well.0 -
:mad:I couldn't agree more. I don't like the fact that when you click on yout Toluna acc and go to surveys nothing is listed.vinylmusic wrote: »Toluna really seems to be a load of crap putting it mildly
They are making money from those companies and we are doing all the work.
They repay us with minuscule rewards and cost us lots of time leading us on with vast amount of points which boil down to very little.
We can be rejected halfway through a survey wasting even more of our time
Their system needs an overhaul because so many surveys fail at or before the end wasting even more time
Judging by this thread they often dont pay up easily ar at all so we have to chase them to get our rewards costing more time.
I advise all disgruntled Toluna users to quit Toluna and email them telling them why
I'm quitting them even though I give up 35,000 points that I earnt
Thers no way I am going to press on for another 45,000 to get a reward I've lost too much time already
I'm emailing them and telling them why and that I'll sign up again when they have improved things
Until then I've got better things to do with my time
I suggest you all do the same. Only when they see many such reactions will they sit up and take notice0 -
This is no doubt down to the merger with Ciao.0

Ive been given 50,000 points random because ive not done anything worth 50,000 points
But this now means ive got enough points to redeem them. But when Ive gone to the voucher page I can put that I want 1 Amazon voucher but there is no redeem button
Anyone else getting this?
Think you must of got my missing points. :rotfl:Mine might turn up eventually.0 -
I'm looking forward to seeing how they muck up the account merging, just reached the 80k on toluna, and think my ciao account isnt far off the £5 I'd have needed from them. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Do you know what ive been thinking the same thing. It just goes to show that they do make the mistakes with giving out the points. Some poor person some where is missing 50,000 points

I had 60,000 points and just cant face the hassle I'd have to gop through to get another 20,000 needede for a voucher
If I added up the time needed to get £5 Timewise I'd be earning as much as a slave labourer from a poor third world country.
I give up and today I quit

my son recently received an e mail from toluna asking him to test an ipad.I told him to ignore it as it was probably a con.But then I found this thread. Was it genuine???? and would he have had to pay any shipping costs or anything.
I see the opportunity has now passed but it would be usefull to know for the future.
