I've just been on the site and it seems fine. But I'm still having trouble getting the 15 point polls to load once I've voted.

I joined Toluna recently and very quickly managed to get up to 45,000 points in a few weeks by doing all the surveys they sent to me and by completing all the mini surveys on their website. But it has taken me almost three times as long again to get up to 55000+ points because I now keep getting filtered out from the surveys they send me.

But perhaps a stupid question is, is it worth doing the additional surveys on the Toluna website that crop up every so often? I complete (when I get through the filtering) the ones sent to my e-mail account and I also do all of the quick ones (eg 15, 40, 60, 90 points etc) on the website. But every so often when doing the quick ones, it comes up and says ‘You have been selected to complete such and such survey’.

Sometimes it will also say that they are worth so many points (eg 1600, 3500 etc). But more often, there is no mention of any points at the start. With these latter ones, do they give points when you complete if it isn’t mentioned at the start? Is it worth doing them just in case?

I never do anything on TOluna unless I can keep a record and prove to them when they haven't paid me. I suggest you do the same. If the survey gives you a ref number AND a number of points, send yourself an email and keep in a folder entitled 'waiting for toluna points'. Then check to make sure you're awarded them. Doing it without keeping records is asking to be abused by Toluna, which is what happens on a regular basis unless you're like a hawk.

Hi, I have just joined literally today, I haven't the fogies clue what its all about?

Do they send out luncheon voucher? is it like Pinecone Research Panel type?

Or are they like the Busy bees panel? - even that I have no clue!!

Toluna seem to be giving out lots of pointless points that you can't seem to do anything with it. To be honest I was only interested in their free product sample.

I would appreciate it, if one of you would be kind enough to list a short & straight forward explaination to me how Toluna works I would be grateful. Thank you.

In a nutshell - they send you surveys which you can do for points, or there are sponsored polls which you can do for points - 80,000 points = £15 in vouchers (seems to be taking most people about 8weeks)
There are other things you can do but I just stick to these and get £15 every two months or so

2 months for just £15:eek: Good lord! It only took me 5 surveys from Pinacone to pay me £15.00 (when they send me the survey to do), I like Pinacone, its straightforward and no messing about like Busybee (too many stages to go thru'! bet the same will apply to Toluna). Thanks for the reply Princess Vix. Much appreciated.

Anyone else seem to have a suspicious lack of surveys from them recently?

Changed my email a week or so ago and haven't had a single survey since. The new address is def right and has been confirmed on their system.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I've been getting shedloads of surveys.

And also, unnervingly, still shedloads of points for doing nothing. I do suspect that at some point they will realise and take them all away. But hopefully not before they've paid me my vouchers...
  • Yeah I've heard P*necone is brilliant, unfortunately I can't seem to get on it. This is the site that I've found the most profitable and regular as you can earn points every day for limited effort.
I've just received my free sample of the new airwick air freshener from filling out a survey a few weeks ago which is quite exciting :) However, I have the worst cold EVER so have no idea what it smells like - the dog keeps on sniffing at it so I'm assuming it must be working!
