Efrieze, knowing when to stop is something I had trouble with too. There just isn't a definitive answer, as everyone sees themselves a different way and everyone has different opinions about what's slim or what's a healthy weight and dress size. So I don't know the answer either... but I know I can relate to what you're saying!!!

Mumzy, I went from 32F to 30E with my weight loss, the annoying thing was it happened very quickly right as I reached my target and AFTER I'd just been out to buy all new underwear as I was sure my size wouldn't change! I am pretty sure upper body & arm toning exercises/weights work were partly to blame for my 'reduction' as I began targetting that area about the same time.

Congrats on losses HannaB, Raphael, Anic, Starlight!

Dragon, I just feel for you so much and can't help thinking there must be SOMETHING that can help you  What happens to others in your position who don't put in the effort that you do to keep the weight down? Do they just gain and gain and gain? Are there any support groups for people in your situation? I am sorry if I'm suggesting avenues you've already been down :(

Andie2308, a good day tomorrow could make all the difference! Hope the official weigh in is kind to you!

BB thank you so much for your kind words, I know I made a big fuss last week about not wanting to gain 2 weeks running but I'm absolutely fine with it, I feel really good actually! :D Result with the kettle! :money: I am on the case about the family history present, that really was a TOP idea!
  • well done everyone for staying here and working hard towards your goals.
Big hugs to Dragon - I hope things get better for you x

BB thanks for your wise words about Sw. I have actually noticed a pattern of my only having one a and one b healthy extra all week. I seem to be filling up on free food, but I will try and have them, even if its 20 yummy cashew nuts (which isn't hard for me to do!)

Still going strong, craved choc today so have had a ww choc mousse and a ww choc eclair - even to satisfy me and within my syns allowance - so can't be bad. Had a sneaky peek at the scales today and appear to have lost 2lb, won't be official though until my real weigh in on Thurs.

Starting to get fed up with Insurers - have heard nothing as yet, my new door isn't being done for another week and my kids are missing their xmas gifts. I must phone and chase it up.

Have a good evening everyone, Starlight, hope you feel more cheery soon x

    Take care all

Oh Dragon hugs hugs and more hugs. Are the new meds working for the pain? That would at least be a silver lining in your very grey cloud. Sorry if that comes over as Pollyanna-ish, I don't mean it too but am just trying to think of something positive for you. Love.
  • Suzy-Qu, at the moment I am knitting squares for a blanket, a quick handbag as a gift for a friend (I completely forgot about her birthday lol), and I've started crocheting a really funky cuddly Octopus, for my cousin's little girl. I'm dreadful for having lots of things on the go at the same time! But yes, knitting needles are great for keeping hands full instead of munching in the evening!!

Tadaa, welcome, I share your problem with weekends and wine... Wine goes well with popcorn and girly movies in my world... But it is a very bad habit... Because I'm not very good at making that bottle last more than an evening lol. Damn. Good luck with the WL tho :)

Forgot to say earlier missyg, I was dead chuffed to have hit the spot with the pressie idea. Made my day:D . OH and I love doing that sort of research.
Bargain b - looking good for Thurs. If you have lost I hope that will really encourage you how SW can work well if stuck to consistantly (sorry sounds preachy and that's not how I mean it - it's just I found SW to be a completely magic discovery)

What are you knitting Pixiedust? I wish I could knit but I could never quite pick it up. But I wish I could as it would stop my fingers reaching into the biscuit tin while watching tv. Ha ha.

I like to crochet. At the moment thou I can only do squares, so end up making big blankets (which always seem to go down really well as presents) I've taken a book out the library & I'm going to have a go at making a scarf.
