Oh Dragon, my heart really goes out to you. WL is hard enough in itself, the pain is terrible I know and to feel as if all your hard work is not getting you anywhere must be so frustrating. Please try to hang on to what peeps talked about before, that your healthy changes are still helping you in many ways you can't see. Sending you big hugs and the hope that a solution can be found for you soon.
Hugs to Starlight too, well done on your loss and please keep posting, that's what we're here for, not just the WL. The reason I stick around here so much is because you are such a lovely bunch of people xx
Well done to everyone who's lost and to the maintainers that are maintaining - no small feat that - I wish I could name everyone individually but you know I'm hopeless at remembering things :o
Grannynise, I'll be opting out again this week, hope this makes your job easier not harder! Good luck to everyone still to weigh in.
Vix, go to Brighton, just remember to take chocolate for the Dementors :D
Efrieze, it's a real tough one that. Many of us still don't like what we see in the mirror even when we've lost the weight/got the nose job/ climbed the career ladder, or done whatever it was that would 'make us happy'. The truth is, learning to love yourself is a whole lot harder than any of these things, but we all deserve to value ourselves and be happy. I hope you find a way, and when you do, be sure to pass the secret on! :D
Raph, the perfect example of everything in moderation, well done you! And well done Missy for your gain, and your impressive Ebaying! Your waist is just a touch bigger than my thigh...

I have a chip shop on the end of my street, when I was coming back from walking the dog earlier I was tempted, and was weighing up having fish & chips for dinner, especially as I had a pizza last week. But in the end the dilemma was solved for me, the shop was shut!

So I had HM spag bol instead. :rotfl:

As it's pancake day today, I weighed in this morning, a day early. 4lb loss for me please grannynise (it is you still, isn't it?).

It is my intention to put every one of those 4 back on tonight - I love pancakes. Oh, and there's no way MrsA and I can do the Valentine's meal on the 14th so we're doing in this Saturday the 9th instead. Glad I sneaked a loss in while there's chance :D

Wll done with the chip shop raph (well kinda lol)..... moneysaving AND WL :)

Wise move vix - Brighton fars outways Portsmouth otherwise I'd have chosen to move to P not B.

Portsmouth Belle just doesn't have the same ring to it...:D

I'm glad I'm not a fan of pancakes, not very good for you with all the stuff on there that makes them yummy, ie syrup, choccy chips, sugar. I'm sure someone will come up with a ww/sw healthy recipe complete with splendar, etc...
Please continue to hold the line. Your call is very important to us and will be answered by next available robot...

    well done ajax,ll:j :j :j

    - can you explain what I need to do with my artichoke?!?!?! :D

If you mean the jeresulem artichoke, they are small brown ugly looking vegetables, peel them carefully (otherwise you end up with nothing as there are not very big:rotfl: ) cut them into thin crisps like pieces, get a large frying pan, put frylite in , then put the artichokes in, they are pure white in colour and need a few mins to brown, if you prefer as I do a bit longer then go crisper (4/5 mins the tv show said) and I just eat them as crisps, lovely, taste according to the tele like pots but I am not so sure:D

    Great loss ajax.

Also delly - you really sounds like an absolute saint. Not many would do what you have been doing in the last few weeks - I second the person who salutes you!

bails - you are right - I always used to think that losing weight would be the solution to all my problems and it never was - it was just the solution to being miserable about my size. Don't get be wrong, I am obviously happier now I have lost weight but I feel that I deserve to look perfect now, after 13 months of constant dieting (with very little straying). What I did realise when I was in Australia was that almost nobody looks perfect - there were far more overweight people there than I expected (45% of the population I am told) and the people round the pool had all shapes and sizes. It still doesn't make me love my figure but nevermind - i guess i will get over it!
