Just a quickie to report for next chart a loss of 2lb .. will catch up tomorrow
    Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j
  • Hi
Thank you for the chart. It certainly is motivating to see all those weight losses. I am really pleased with my 4lb loss in my first week. I know its probably all water but still its me getting lighter!!

What really helped was having lots of fruit around for snacks. Sounds really obvious but where I usually fall down is crisps etc.

Has anyone got any ideas please for something I can have with a cuppa?

Last night I found a ryvita dark and it was like easting cardboard - and no I haven't eaten cardboard.

Thanks everyone for all the posts- I am still reading and not posting very much. I find there are a lot of posts to go through!!!.

Is it ok to just post replies to anyone? I havent got the gist of this yet! It feels a bit like you are intruding on a private conversation.

Good luck everyone for this week.

    Sue

Hi amibothered course you can post to anyone at anytime, join in, have a rant, moan, comment, point to make it is all good:D

Things to have with a cuppa? I have hot lemon, gave up coffee and tea but have with it either fruit or sugar free jelly with a mullerlight yog, o% greek
fat yog, crackers as you say but I have WW salmon pate on them so they are not dry like cardboard:rotfl: :rotfl: I get all the ryvita ones, the light crackers, dark rye you name it I eat them all:D you can as some people do save your points/calories and still have a biscuit if that is what you after but make sure they are light ones/low fat/low sugar etc like plain digestives 1 point...

  • hi amibovered - just reply to whoever and whenever you like - this is a very conversational board but noone takes offence at newbies jumping right in or not as the case may be.

feeling blimmin awful but not as bad as last night. Alas OH is way worse than i am - he ran out of cigarettes last night and is in no fit state to go to the shop and get some more so as well as the bug he is suffering with that too. Am trying to be sympathetic but struggling a bit . . . .

Well done Grannynise - on posting the chart. You did brilliantly!

Congratulations - Brighton Belle on SOTW - have you been SOTW before? I can't remember......

Well done all losers and maintainers this week and comiserations to the gainers.
Thanks delly: i was once before. Generally my losses have been 1-2lbs max that have just gradually added up. Have you got sasha back yet? How's it going?
Just had my first full day back on SW plan. It's been a little tricky this evening: I've got in to the habit of not being bothered what I ate, given my cal count was so low. So i find myself wanting to nibble sweet stuff as per the last few weeks, but I've managed with fruit and dribble of syrup and natural yog and feel very pleased with myself, rather than choc and biscuits. I've focussed mentally on enjoying the clothes I can now wear and the missing double chin (always put weight on my face and I hated it)and I don't want to lose that feeling. MInd you I've spent 3/4 of today asleep so not much time to be tempted! Just time to fit in wholemeal toast and marmite before bed time proper :D .
lucygotit - sounds hard for her: knowing what is and isn't good for you is always harder if it is put in front of you! Still, hopefully your loss will encourage her.
KPC - hope you get a goodnights sleep: I know how long the nights can be if you feel rough.xx
    Night night peeps
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
  • Steps yesterday: Not such a cracking day for me. 7,455 in total, including 2,934 aerobic steps (27 minute - 0.88 miles). I also did a Body Pump class too and have booked in for next Monday and Wednesday. I don't ache as much today either.

Thanks for the chart! Hopefully I can add some pounds to it next week.

Thanks for the chart Granny. And well done...I'm not the best with spreadsheets and it looks like really hard work to do the charts.

    I've been Money Tipped!
So sorry! I'm late posting this week, been a bit down and it shows as I have lost nothing (comfort eating!:o ) but I haven't gained either  :j

I will try harder this week, promise!:D
