Sorry to hear you are unwell KPC.:( Stay wrapped up warm and get better soon.
Well done on reaching the 5lb target BB - every loss helps, even the ones by the less obvious route!:)
Well done, too, Raphael.:T The losses this week are really mounting up people (just a pity I am not one of them:rolleyes: )

My comp win was with Banrock Station wine via the Tesco magazine, Bails. Can't remember how long ago I even entered it but it is no less welcome for that. have only just had the email last night telling me I had won so not sure exactly how it works yet. Presume I do not get my Sean Bean in January - might have to find something other than weeding for him to do if ground is still frozen.;)
  • KPC I had it before Xmas and it is vile. Hope you feel better soon. Swept through me and the kids but OH avoided it somehow??!

Seem to be some fab losers on here this week. Are we all frightened of Granny really? Has worked for me with another 1lb off this week!! Been stress eating as a busy time with moving house this weekend but also been dashing around loads so it must have balanced out.

    Have a lovely day everyone....

    Hi everyone

I have lost 1.5lbs this week! Quite happy with that i've been really good with calories and going to the gym, thought it would be more , but i've been doing weights so maybe teeny tiny muscles building up???? who knows:confused: ??

Congrats BB so glad your feeling better! KPC keep yourself well hydrated and don't take immodium etc....better to get it all out!! When I had gastro i took immodium and it made the cramps 10x worse!

Hi to all the newbies and congrats/hugs to all losers and gainers, well done to all sts!:T

InterglacticF I always weigh 2-3 lbs heavier after going to the gym, try weighing yourself when you've had a rest for 1-2 days and i bet your lighter!!
    Goal weight....lighter than when I started :D

  • Hi weigh in this morning 1½lb gain! I must admit I didn't help! I felt a bit down this week, not an excuse for eating but I did. Last night DH decided to do a choc cake and choc sauce, I said how unfair, then ate half!!!
Back on track today as I will make the 5lbs a month for next week.
    Good luck everyone.
I think I might have that pig gene too!!!!!
Need to sort my life out! :T
  • What a bad morning,

Left the house on time for a change but must have dawdled on the walk as we saw the train pulling in whilst we were at the bottom of the hilll...cue mad sprint (which at least I can do these days)...but then...I got to the station stairs (there's always stairs at the end of a mad sprint for some reason or other...) and I slipped and fell up them...so then I stood up and slipped again and then I stood up and slipped again!! :o survived with a sore hand and knee....and no pride left.....

Then I get into work and find the one meeting I'd made it all the way in for has been rearranged... grrrr

But I have a cup of tea and am doing my best not to buy a snickers from the tuck shop....so hopefully once 10 o'clock is achieved the day will take a turn for the better.....but really trying hard to resist the chocolate....I knwo its only wanted due to the rational belief that it will make my day better...it won't though (must repeat that more....)

well done on all the losses....I seem to be heading for a sts/gain on sat....still hvae time to turn it around if I concentrate though...anyone got a bag of concentration they can lend me?
  • Grannynise - I've lost 2lb this week, I didn't post in time for last weeks chart and I put on 2lbs last week so that should cancel the gain out atleast!

BB - Glad you are feeling a bit better

I'm going to the chinese for a meal tonight anyone any suggestions what I can eat that's not too bad? It's been a nightmare few days food wise as I had a meal at Chiquitos last night although I don't think I did too bad picking a burrito with chicken as it's only 1 flour tortilla and was good during the day to save some extras for tea!

Well done on your losses everyone!

  • Brighton Belle - my 1st week - lost 1lb - not much but only 6 days and in right direction. (start weight 12-07 now 12-06) - please can you add me to your super duper chart :D (will weigh in on Wed am)

Have stuck to WW points and have eaten much better this week but already have skim milk etc so no big changes to make. I am a bit disappointed but I am a bit PMT too so hopefully, if I'm a good gibbon, will have a better weightloss next week.
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Quality, some more amazing losses this week!:T Everyone is really on form! Well done Granny on reaching the 2 stone mark (really reaching it this time :o:D). Say goodbye to that weight, you won't be seeing it again!
Gym bunnies, hold the faith with muscle weighing more than fat, it's really true! I used to LOVE Body Pump, so jealous! Drop those weights a notch for tonight and let your body recover til Monday and see what happens at next week's WI.

0.5lb gain for me this week GN
, so letting the side down a little but to be expected. Might not make my 1st stone in January unfortunately but it'll come.

KPC, poor you! My dad had it on Christmas Day - he's not a good patient but even through that I could tell it was really nasty. My bro and mum had it too but we seem to have avoided it so far, touch wood (very bizarre with my immune system ). Really hope you feel better soon , big hugs x :grouphug:
Serendis, sounds like a rubbish morning; here, have a hug too instead of that Snickers. :grouphug: Or better still, give yourself a hug - perhaps not in view of others or they may whack the straitjacket on you while you're in position :D Think about all the things you'd say to one of your mates who'd just had that morning, and say them to yourself instead (in your head :D); that might help.
I'm so proud of everyone on here who's had such a great week, you're all doing a brilliant job! Go team!:T
