grannynise .....2lbs off for me this week:j :j . I guess the THorntons chocs will have to wait till next week to show up....

Only problem is, my goddaughter is making her First Communion in June and I really want to be between 2-3 stone lighter by then so they may just have to not show up at all if I'm to stay on track to get my goal....

Oops, almost forgot to update my mini targets... must go off and think about achieving some more.....
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

Well done BB, on your loss, I am happy that you are feeling better now!! You lost 35lb...wow that is around the same amount that I would like to lose...however I doubt that is possible in 6 months!

I finally managed to weigh myself, it seems like granny is now doing the chart, I am still 13st 7, so although I have lost since my gain, I am back to a zero lost for the month.

I will be working really hard so that I can post my first lost next week.

Just like to say you guys are all great and thanks victory for the encouragement!

    Have a good night

  • Well, I've managed to speed up my laptop a teeny bit (one major system clean up later), but I have a horrible feeling that this weekend is going to end up being a major re-build... Ho hum. Maybe next weekend... I was planning on taking myself to a big craft fair this weekend and wasting student loan money ;)

Can't remember who needs to know, but I have lost 1lb this week

Got a slap on the wrist from the leader at WW for changing programmes mid way through the week, but hey, slaps on the wrist were half the reason for going back! Will be doing the kickstart programme this week so hoping for good results next week!

Congratulations on hitting target BB, hope you're feeling better.

Vix, start behaving and get back on that wagon :P

Ooh, I got myself a points-pedometer at WI today.... between 1pm and 6pm, I earnt 1.5 points. Not bad going for half a days work!

There was a load of other stuff I was gonna write here, but hey, my memory is going... Great... 22 and getting forgetful already - there's no hope for me!

  • BB Glad to hear you are better and well done on hitting your target :) Loved your frantic red flappy-arm smiley.

LL Don't let the others grind you down, if they carry on eating pizza, drinking wine and eating loads of desserts they will be back where they started. Stick with your current programme, try a food diary if you are not already (mine goes everywhere with me - it's an RC one so it's set out nice and I can keep a tick list of glasses of water, portions of fruit, no of meals snacks etc), and stick with the peeps on this thread - they're great

VIX I could always come and shout at you in person, that might do the trick :rotfl:

Grannynise - 3lbs off for me please, hardly maintaining but does bring me to a nice 3 stone loss.

  • Thanks dellyforyou.gif - chuffed you've got 2lbs off. Maybe the chocolates bulge will come and go before next weigh in. So, you've got about 20 weeks until the christening. Averageof 1.5lbs a week = 2 stone looks do able on you recent progress, especially as we move into better weather so more outside activity might come naturally. I think you'll do it.yay.gifGo delly, go delly...
Hi QT - I remembered when you joined us meaning to point out we have similar goals. I started off at 13st 1 and have lost 2.5 st and I couldn't really imagine doing it at first, but I found plan that just worked for me without too much difficulty/stress and that has been the key. I've averaged 1lb a week and it took 7 months. On the other hand, I have been able to do very little exercise for health reasons so if you've got that option, that should help, as long as it is something you enjoy. Are you a calorie counter? Were /when are you hitting temptation that 's stopping you achieving want you want: maybe you need to plan around those hot spots better? Are you building in enough treats so you don't feel deprived?
Thanks pixie andFFM - yeah, I love that smiley too - sometimes it just says it all:D
Ooh granny - thankyou.gifI look forward to you joining me in the reached target - very nearly half way there eh! (And you'll reach 35lb quicker than me:T ) I'll be on the computer late aft/early eve tomorrow - so any sudden questions re chart do post/pm. I'm sure you'll be fine though.(Sorry if I caused any confusion re late/early updaters:o )
Beanie - that's brilliant, well done!
So peeps, you know in my earlier post I went on about getting back to SW today and how great it was, and how I was going to make OH a bread and butter pud to get rid of the white bread temptation, coz I er didn't like that pud. Well.. I've never actually had any before so, so as this was the first one I have made, had a tiny taster to see if it was cooked....yup you've guessed it
hugelaugh.gif fell at the first hurdle: now full of very yummy warm milky b&b pudding...
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

quick post, don't get time to any more really. Any helpful suggestions for maintaining. I'm at goal again but have had a week of needing all kinds of naughty stuff. IBS playing up, can't seem to balance out meals through the day so that I don't feel hungry in the evening. Any ideas? Many Thanks.
