Hi all - as normal - I've missed you all for a couple of days and I've got loads of pages to try and catch up on.

I hope everyone is well - hello to all the regulars and a big welcome to all the new people who have joined since I last logged on (sorry can't remember everyones's names) - you'll get lots of good help, support and advise on here. Everyone is lovely and I know I couldn't do it without them all.

Thanks for doing the chart again Belle even though you aren't feeling at your best. I hope Mr BB is still looking after you well - whether he is still dressed in character or not. Big hugs and hope you are feeling better soon.

Congratulations Marion - Slimmer of the week - well done - and also high fives to Bails and the The Dragon - monthly target reached already - I don't think I'll manage to join that club this month.

Vix - sorry I wasn't on before your last two exams to speak to the big man upstairs on your behalf but I hope tomorrow's one goes really well for and all the stress will be over soon.

How are the kids doing now Jules? - I hope things have worked out well for you all now and they are settled with yourselves. Still thinking of you all.

Ajax - best wishes and hugs also being sent for Mrs A - hope the bloodclots disperse/break up (or whatever they do) quickly and she is on the mend real soon.

Efrieze - If you do log on while youare away I hope you are having a great holiday down under. Don't be drinking to much Australian wines or beer!!!

Well done Beanie - good for you for sticking to the cucumber and tomato - I'm sure the scales will be good to you next week.

Unfortunately the same can't be said for me. I'll probably have put on about a stone this week - but do I care? No way - I've loved every minute of it.

The last few days have been absolutely fantastic and I've been spoilt rotten by everyone. I'm not used to all this fuss and attention and I feel quite overwhelmed and humbled by everyone's generosity (it's all much more than I deserve). Can I be 40 again next year?

Anyway, I better go for now. Just thought I would try and catch up before my next round of celebrations.

    Speak to all later.

Anic unfortunately the kids aren't with us yet, and it looks like we're off to court, dificult story to tell but she appointed her parents as guardians and they really don't like my OH.

apart from that they seem fine, andwe're seeing them as often as we can.

    Thanks for asking
    Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j
  • Hi everyone.
well diet is going ok. Four days into it and I succumbed to a small square of chocolate cake today.
Quite pleased so far but must learn not to weigh myself a couple of times a day - its quite disheartening.

To join this club, do you have to post weight loss(hopefully) on a specifc day each week? Do you need to post your start weight?

    Thanks

Went to my physiotherapist last night and from February their prices are going to to £42 per half an hour session!! Ever feel like you're in the wrong line of work?

Nothing to do with weight loss, but I was shocked all the same.

Oh although what I had for tea last night was nice. I did myself chicken and pasta sauce with onion and sweetcorn, but I had a wholemeal roll for dipping instead of pasta. Really made a change, yum!

    Hi Sue,

Don't be too concerned about the chocolate cake. I find myself having treats most days, but so long as you balance your eating throughout the rest of the day it's not too bad. Even if it was the whole cake, it's not a big loss, you just need take these things a day at a time. If you find yourself craving sweet things though, why not keep some healthier sweet treats handy (raisons, fruit, WW treats, etc), so you're not reaching for the cake.

The weight chart is posted on a Wednesday afternoon, most people I have found post their weights on Wednesday mornings. But I do mine on a Monday morning (perhaps because it encourages me not to binge at the weekend for fear of the immediate effects). Someone always takes note of the loss, so it can be put on the chart.

    Good luck.

I am glad that you had such a lovely time Anic, but I have to disagree with you on one point. You are a nice person and you DO DESERVE ALL THE LOVELY FUSS AND ATTENTION!!!! :T :T  :T :T

    Enjoy

hello amibovered? You don't need to post your start weight (unless you want to) but just post each week how much you've lost that week, and perhaps what your total loss is. You can post whenever you like but the chart will be updated after 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

This is a great thread with really helpful people, stick with us.
