  • I've a confession to make - I went to enrol in WW last night, waited in the queue for 45 mins and still wasn't inside the main room and I thought, in true OS style, "what the hell am I doing, giving them £5.50 a week and they won't even shout at me" - I learned from last time that I need someone to hunt me down :D . So I've weighed and measured myself at home instead and will just re-read all of the mountain of stuff from last time.

So I'm gonna try doing it at home and using the various threads on here, as well as ask a very fierce friend to b*ll*ck me when I stray - I've got to do something tho cause I've gone back up to my heaviest weight ever.

Can I post my start weight here 12 st 7 lbs and if you usually update the tables on Wednesday, I'll weigh and measure myself on Tuesday, if that's OK.
I'm aiming to lose 2st7 by September - doable if I try hard
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

  • hpe the film was good bails! And well done retiredlady - what a result! Just looked at the chart and was a bit bummed that I have actually gained over 5lb this month. so not much chance of getting the challenge! But, if i GAIN 5lb in a month, then I guess i can LOSE 5lb in a month. I just have to try harder and be good with all these meals out - 4 more to go this month.

Thanks BB, you are our hero . . . .

Sorry, trouble is just about to have her lunch :P I am having a hot & spicy chicken fillet with a slice of granary bread.

How are you doing Suggs? Any update on your injury?
  • Hello,
I couldn't get on the internet yesterday so missed sending my weight - can I still give it for running totals for next week? Anyway I gained 2lbs oups, but it was actually 3 by Monday and I lost 1 so better than it was going to be. I must get back on track. I struggle with motivation during the first half stone - I think it's because you can't see it and knowone notices pathetic I know!:o

Congrats on your losses everyone who's been good! BB hope you're feeling better!

AbbieCadabra I am also using this from the recommendation on here and I think it's fab, i'm strugling with the time to record everything but it's showing me even when I think i'm being good that i'm eating too much oups! I didn't try last night but I've just updated my food now and it's working ok for me.

Using the above foodlog I've just calculated the calories in the choc brownie i've just made to take to my friends house for tea tonight (we take it in turns to cook the tea and provide a pudding between 4 of us every few months) and it's 759 yikes:eek: . My friend is a dietrician too (although she is obese on the BMI scale too!) so we normally finnish up checking our weight on her scales as they are the most accurate - best do it before the brownie!!! I've just had soup and no bread for my lunch and am starving already.

  • Just had a sandwich from the shop near work and the bread tasted just like glue...
also succombed to a bag of very tasty squares...

Looks like the diet today is slow going...not going to be helped by the trip to the pub when my friend comes out of his viva...ah well....If I was a saint I'd be thin and miserable

I lost 4lbs on Tuesday night bringing my total weight loss to 24lbs - not only gaining my 1.5stone aard but only 4lbs off my 2stone award! Pray for me this week as it'd be such a boost to get that next week! :j :j :j

Hi everyone. Cor this is horrible weather!

Just came out of exam number two. Totally rubbish. Had a question on the integration of he EU economy in reference to the labour force. I mean for god sake, what a question. I answered as best i could but i probably didnt do so well in it but at least the worst is over. Hopefully my strategy and tourism exam will lift the grade of it up slightly.

I gotta do my notes for tomorrows exam. Got a permanent headache that im trying to ignore, feel like i could go to sleep! Went to bed at half 9 last night, boyfriend gave me a full body massage. He is absolutly diamond.

anyway, well done to the loosers. Ive just eaten a four fingered kit kat, toast with anchor spreadable. Theres something quite pleasing about not watching what you eat. I shall enjoy it while i can untill sunday!

hope you have a good day folks, i'll be on top form tomorrow with no work to do what so ever! woo

Just made myself tuna and sweetcorn for a sandwich, no butter or spread used :) sounds like your not eating enough though??

Update is that the hospital hand unit has discharged me and I can play this weekend if I like as long as I tape my finger to the next one for support. Not sure if I have a match yet due to the weather! How you doing? you shaved that hair off so you can say your 7stone someting?? :rotfl:
