Vix well done with the exam - chin up for the other two especialy if you think they are bolleaux!

Marion way to go on slimmer of the week.

My first weight loss of the year and it's ....... 3.5lb woooohooo!! I'm chuffed as I haven't been strict even though tthat was my intention lol!
    Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j
  • Thanks for doing the chart brighton belle - hope you're feeling better soon. Try and keep yourself out of hospital MRS - it really isn't the best place to be if you're sick (yes, I get the irony). ... just look at Leslie Ashe - I don't think £5million in compensation covers losing your ability to work, no matter what your earnings were beforehand there's so much more to it than that, self esteem, a sense of purpose, even a reason to get up in the morning.

grannynise - if you need any help with the chart, just let me know and I'll do what I can.

congratulations to marion - sotw that's brilliant and well done dragon for already smashing your monthly target and so far into you're annual target too .

And of course, who could forget our bails - well done on getting the monthly target too.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

    Hi guys
My son was moving today, so family members all dragged in to help.
I knew that they would all want a take-a-way after and was dreading it.
So yesterday I went to Asda and got the ingredients and cooked a SW chicken curry (from the curry book), leaving it overnight.
The recipe was for 4 so I made it for 12, plus a SW chickpea and potato curry, along with a tom/cue/onion salad and various breads (which I didn't touch).
I never cook curry in this family because they all have WI roots and know and love their curry.
Now I know they worked hard and were hungry, but it went down really well and no-one knew it was a diet recipe.
So I am very pleased with myself tonight, one for not breaking my diet and the other because everyone was so grateful.
Now can anyone tell me how to put my weight in the signature bar at the bottom of page please?
I want to join in, it looks so much better looking at all your weight losses.

Hi LL what a great idea! I'm terrible for starting a diet then a week later having some meal out/celebration/excuse for eating a naughty thing and then regretting it afterwards! I'm sure it tasted great! BTW You can change your signature by clicking on 'user cp' then clicking the link on the left saying 'edit signature'

Congrats to marion-well done and a million thanks to BB for the chart, it's so nice to see it there but I hope you are feeling better, best wishes to Mrs Ajax as well!!
    Goal weight....lighter than when I started :D
  • Thanks BB for doing the chart, hope you are feeling better soon, mind you with the picture I have of Mr BB I bet you'll be laughing yourself better in no time!
Well done Marion on SOTW and to everyone else who lost or STS.
I'm really chuffed at reaching my monthly target already, but not going to get complacent or I will end up putting it on. Normally on a WI day I have a little 'treat' (not normally very little!) but last night I just had 4 custard cream biscuits.
Anyway, back to work. Good luck for this week everyone.
Need to sort my life out! :T

Thank you for this week's chart BB and the previous ones, I hope you feel much better very soon! Thank you Grannynise for taking over the task too :)

I had a sneaky unofficial weigh this morning and it was spot on 8st (not for the chart pls!). I think although I'm supposed to be maintaining above this weight I have to try to go under temporarily, even if it's just for one day at 7st 13¾lb! It's never happened before and will probably never happen again so I'd like to be able to say I was "once 7st something!"

You probably all think I am a bit daft but there's just something about being on a stone barrier...

We all where 7stone something once, in my case probably around the ages of 7 or 8 :rotfl:
