    Hello!!

I havent pop in here for ages, but wondered if I could join? Have just lost 6kgs since January which is great especially with my dicky thyroid, but i have about 14kgs more to go.......

I am following WW at home at the moment and weigh in at my gym once a week. Am pleased that in the last 6 weeks I have also reduced my body fat % by 5.5% - yaaay!

One thing I need to get into my head is that it is not a diet but a lifestyle change, and I need to stick at it, even when I am at goal weight, basically until I am happy to put back on the weight I have lost (& more!). I dont want to lose it and then put it back on!

Are you following your own healthy eating plans at home? Or any other WW's out there?

Injured my foot on Monday so not at the gym at the moment and may not be for another few weeks which sucks (really got into my running!), but nay mind.

Any tips you want to give to me? I'd be interested if anyone else on here had an underactive thyroid too!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend xx

Morning everyone (bit too early though!) :hello:

May I please join in your weight loss thread?

I joined WW again last Thursday and really need to get the weight off too!
Have had a rough time for a while and the weight has piled on due to comfort eating and also not been able to exercise due to car accident 14 months ago which has left me with constant back and hip pain - but having a steroid injection for that soon as hopefully will be able to start exercising soon.

So it would be really nice have a laugh with you all and see how we all get on losing weight:T

    ms-london, mumoftwins welcome:D

bb loved your story of the chair, purple sounds fab:D fingers crossed for tuesday, we have the same scenario in this house but not until March 5th, if H does not get job we loose house, have to move, think of plan B, no pressure on him then ,ha,ha, he is rehearsing his answers each night now for the questions they may ask.

Have spent the day pampering myself, need to calm down so had very long bath, I am alright now because have managed to move my negative thoughts to the positive and have convinced myself it is a cyst or lymph gland or whatever google tells me it is, lol, not letting the negatives win, hard but the lists help. xx

KPC so you should be annoyed!!

Welcome ms-london and mumoftwins to our lovely thread! I've seen some awful stuff on MSE recently but there is never anything but kindness and support on here and you'll be at home in no time!
There are quite a few people doing WW and several with underactive thyroid (as well as a whole host of other health issues, including a serious car accident). We'll give you as much help as we can, collectively we know quite a lot by now I reckon, and of course there are always lots of laughs along the way too. Nice to 'meet' you!

Victory, well done for taking such good care of yourself, and focusing on the positive, I know how hard that is. Big hug.

Just thought I would catch up with you all.

The past couple of days have been really bad for me as to the amount of chocolate I have eaten. I know its not good for me due to health reasons, but its done now. A few messages back EFT was menntioned. I was taught howto do this last year but have not kept it up. So Im going to start that for cravings and chocolate in general. My theory was to allow myself some at the weekend. But Id rather not have any. I also have the Paul Mckenna cd so have just put that on my ipod. Im going back to the gym tomorrow as I havent been for a while due to falling in the local supermarket. In March I will pay for a year as I get discount through my job. Works out at £2.00 a week

Ohh Ive waffled on a bit there sorry:o

    Welcome newbies!

BB: THANK YOU! i love you lots. You should have written your address in so i could have sent you a thank you. You must at least come to cants so i can do the same back :p Only 4 more days to go and then im going to the seeaa siiidde! My mum said i should announce it friday morning before we go by packing the cases, leaving them upstairs with a note on them about brighton and then get him to go up there! I gotta get a good camera now!

Went shopping today. Bought 2 pairs of shoes for £14.80! Primark red shoes (is it red shoes or red hat?) then some patent heels from new look with student discount. Result. Managed to buy some toothpase for brighton without matthew knowing why. I also went into la senza. I bought a bra.

Aww, vix, you are very welcome. I didn't think to put my address in - wasn't deliberate, but your tigger happy thanks here are truely enough. But when you open your own lingerie company give me a lovely discount:D .
Ok, someone prize me away form ebay now please. Mustn't buy anymore, must try and sell something now. Have just bought a large set of book shelves on ebay. Tense bidding right to the last second but still a 3rd of the price of a new one that size (OH = 2nd hand book shop lover). Just got to find a courier now to do Southampton to Brighton. Why don't I have useful friends, like one with a large trailor who owes me a favour:D .
Bindi - glad the sw going ok: as I am sure your consultant told you, it is nimportant to have your a's and b's - it's the nutritioal/roughage balance thing. Some times at class if peeps had stopped losing, the answer would be that they weren't having both b's.
wecome mumoftwins and mslondon - can I echo bails post 100%.
KPC - yes, I think women are soooo out of order when they behave like that. It's a baaad way to live and be. Bet you looked delectably gorgeous though. It's good to keep making an effort in a long term relationship (as I keep having to remind myself:rotfl: ) Purple dragons all round me thinks...
Yes, bails - it's a bit of rainbow time after the storm I think.xx
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
