Just a suggestion regarding the maintainers and the chart/sig views...
why not post your losses and gains in terms of over or under the maintenance allowance you have? that way It's not seen as going up and down every week which sometimes is only natural...and then if it goes yo-yoing between the same 2lbs its still maintaining?
as previously said it would be impossible to stay exactly the same weight...0 -

I hope you do too as it really motivate you as you see the scale go down but I only(!) lost 3 lbs in my first week and I have lost almost 100 lbs in total so hopefully any positive result on Thursday will help to motivate you.0 -
Hi everyone:hello:
Just a quick catch up as Im off to bed its night shift tonight.
Put my Paul Mckenna cd on when I went to bed last night. Will do that as often as I can and see if it helps. Did some EFT this morning and went back to the gym. Managed 30 minutes on the rower and 30 on the treadmill. Bought some Supernoodles so will take them for supper at work.
Victory Thinking of you.
Hugs for everyone who needs them. Catch you all later.0 -
Gym wise I tend to go 4 times a week and play rugby on the saturday. It does feel good to be able to run and I am guessing I am the fittest I have ever been. So much so I am considering joining my rugby on doing the Sport Relief Mile. Some of them are going for the 6miler. Bearing in mind I only started using the threadmill January 3rd, and can manage 1.3 miles. Should I go for the 6 mile? Would anyone sponsor me?? Cheeky I know but looking for some inspiration?...:)
...If you decide to go for the 6 mile and I'm quite willing to sponsor you :T I'll PM my amount when you decide...
xxxxI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

I have 56lbs to lose and it seems daunting at the moment - should I do a chart as a signature for when I post? If so how do I do it please?
Also excuse me for being thick - but what does EFT stand for please?Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
Meant to say that I had a nap after lunch (lovely!!) and when I woke the first thing I wanted was chocolate:eek: but I didn't succumb!Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0

I, for example , see my goal weight as 10st 9 and I don't like to go above 10st 10. This is a very small range I know but based on the last 5 weeks it is working for me - when I hit 10st 10/11 I make sure I stick to SW plan with max 10 syns for a day or two to drop back a lb or 2. I don't mind dropping below 10st 9 (but not expecting to) so have no lower limit (BMI of 24)- I have plenty of curves that could drop weight with no detriment to my health, I just I like this weight as it's a realistc target that is enjoyable to maintain rather than a struggle/stress.
Understand why you are pulling out of the chart missyg - it is a tool to help not to hinder. As long as you don't leave us!!
Pet, yeah, a brilliant pukey smilie. I'm loving using my secret santa spotty notebook an purple pen. Well done on your money making schemes. Inspired by missyg I'm psyching myself up to sell stuff on ebay. Goal is to recoup cost of courier for recent chair and bookcase ebay purchase.
MOT: it always seems like a long journey at the start -- but if you stay fairly consistant, allow for the occasion blip/life, then 6 months does soon whizz by and at the rate of a lb a week that would be 2 stone gone:D . And slow off = slow on and easier to maintain.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Lost 3lbs this week
Nice to see that despite my mood, Im still in control.
Im actually planning on going to the gym at work, just to use the treadmill, every day this week. Come hell or high water I WILL lose 2lbs next week and reach that 10 stone mark
Well done to all the other losers0
