Well Done Raph Great result. Also great losses for Dragon, Anic, Suzy-Qu Starlight :) If I have missed you out please forgive me.

Fingers crossed victory, I know the waiting is difficult.

Dellybelly, Sounds like your making sense, if it works for you then drop WW, you know it makes sense. Bails not sure who Danielle is or even if she is lovely, but can I sleep on it too ;) Just make sure you do what you think is right and within your ability :)

Right I went to the gym today, with thought of the Sport Relief Mile in mind and managed a 2 mile jog on the treadmill, first time ever. Then got home and MrsS mentioned that DD has offered to have DS for that same weekend, as its our 1st Anniversary of moving in together. We are going to Twickenham for England v Ireland but now the offer means we could make a weekend of it in London! So until its sorted I guess the Mile or 6 miler is on hold. Sorry Pet, KPC and Dragon!! I will fine myself though and sponsor someone on my behalf.

I hope that explains it a little bit better! Please don't see me asking to be taken off as a negative thing, it's just the right thing for me personally at the moment. I'll still update my BMI each week in my sig, and I won't be leaving this thread (you don't get rid of me that easily :p)

Not seeing it as a negative Missy just making sure you've checked out all the angles  and like many a thing ont his thread you'll find others with similar problems and a different take on it which gives us all a nice load of information :D

Yeah, good point, when does the March challange start?

BTW, not having a good day, sigh.
Toilet blocked again(Just paid a plumbers bill)
Friend phoned to say thought we had fleas.
Our cat has 6 monthly iinjections but apparantly fleas can live in house?
They think this could be why DS has been not feeling well.(Their son was here & went home scratching & had been bitten.)
Can I just go somewhere far away & not come back?
    i jst

They hide in the carpets Beanie...
Get some flea spray and douse the house...especially under radiators and the like

Suggs, Danielle is indeed lovely - she's my yoga instructor, about 5ft 10, very pretty, gorgeous figure - I'd definitely sleep on it if I was you! Great news about your weekend, you could always do the run another day and donate the money anyway; I'll sponsor you. Nice one on the treadmill success, and for the sound advice about my gym x

I'm afraid to say beanie I moved into a rented house once where there had been a cat, and was no longer and was bitten to death by the little critters left behind. We had to spray the whole hoouse (carpets and soft furnishing) with a can of stuff. In fact come to thing of it - had to do the same when I moved in here.
Raphael - what.a. result.:j You are on a roll. It's going to be very exciting when you see you fat % come down too - by September you are going to be one fit, heathy, debt free woman!
Suzy - really great to hear you are learning to draw a line under a not so good day and start over -that is the true secret of sucess, because these days will always come.
I should imagine March challenge will start this Thursday, after wed final feb chart.
Delly -sound a good idea to give yourself thinking time, with a positive back up plan if DIY doesn't work for you.
Not suprised you have to wait a little longer Victory - you are doing really well to stay focussed on the positive. BUt good or bad day, we're here for you. If you could just give me your mother's email I could have a frank little chat with her...
Great losses Dragon, Anic, Suzy-Qu Starlight, purple cat lover:j:j:j
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

when my cat was having the injections the vet kept telling me they wouldnt prevent her getting fleas and would only stop the fleas reproducing. luckily she doesn't tend to get fleas anyway so i never bothered with other stuff too.

it might be worth your spraying the house (but the spray from supermarkets and pet shops doesnt work in my sisters experience).
  • Hi, I'm new to this thread but by the looks of things it looks like a great place to get some inspiration and support for when slimming drops from the top of my agenda:p

I joined slimming world for the second time (I lost over 2st in 2004 but gave up and ate for Britain when I became pregnant with my second child:rolleyes: ) on 07/01/08 and so far have lost 1st 3lb which I'm really happy with. I've still about 3st to go but I hope to achieve that this year.

I'd love to join the chart if possible. I was weighed tonight and lost 2lb:j
Thanks to all who post competitions!!
