Thanks for the welcome Brighton belle!! I don't know what I'd do without SW. I find it an easy plan to follow as I never get hungry. My problem is the temptation of chocolate and sweets:rolleyes: . I'm determined to stick it out this time though as I've got a family wedding in July and I'd love to be as near target as possible for it.Thanks to all who post competitions!!0 -
Purple catlover~Should I get the stuff from the vets then?
thanks peeps for the support~know it sounds so silly but this has just floored me(Times like this I hate being on my own)I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
id recommend the stuff form the vets rather than shops beanie yeah, its what my sister resorted to in the end that got rid of the blighters.0

Beanie - fleas are pants. We have two cats upstairs that get them all the time. I always find its one big circle with them.
As for bras, try la senza's offer of 2 bras for £20 and 2 matching briefs for £8. Cant go far wrong buying 2 sets at £14 each. They were really good when i tried them on.
I just bought a camera! A pink one too. To match the pink phone and the lilac suitcases ha. All i will need is a pink top a pink car and matt to wear pink alsoI wouldnt go that chavvy, dont worry!
Im off to bed, im so tired! gotta work 5 hours tomorrow which i hate cos you dont get a breakby the time youve done it the whole day is gone and you might aswell do a whole days work!
At least i will save calories on not having lunch!
have a good day tomorrow everyone.0 -
The lady before me came out screaming and sobbing and was taken straight away to the relatives room, positive positive positive:D

Get some flea spray and douse the house...especially under radiators and the like
Also, as there are diff stages in a fleas developement (eggs, larve, flea) you have to repeat the treatment after a few weeks to catch the next batch.
I'm lucky, dobermanns don't get fleas! It's the type of fur I think. I still frontline her thou, just in case. It's also great against ticks etc

I can't wait for my next review on 4th April, I can see the weight going down, my work trousers are getting looser and I think my tummy is getting flatter. But can't see the fat turning to muscle. I have no idea how fast it is suppost to 'turn' either so I don't know if it will drop a lot after 6 weeks, or just a littleshould be an interesting one!

hello all! how are you? i am a MTC no more pies member. An ex WWer and ex SWer. I dont want to cut anything out, just want to eat in moderation. Don't want to count calories or points, and half about 10lb-14lb to lose. At the start of the year I only had 7lb to lose. The minute I think "DIET" I then shove as much food as possible in my mouth. In short, I'm a disaster and need all the help I can get. I just love food!!!!
Am I welcome here? I need to start a new regime (not diet!!) but need guidance! I am NOT going back to a fat fighters meeting as the last one I went to was hideous with everyone making a fuss about how I didnt have weight to lose (oh yeh thats why size 14 doesnt fit me!?) I only want to be a nice size 12, but as I'm so close, I've just given up. I lost 2st7lb a few years ago and kept it off (doing SW but that doesnt fit into my current lifestyle) so why cant I lose another stone now?!
All comments welcome!

Jamtart, of course you're welcome, and Clairabelle too (that's what my dad calls me!). Lots of us can relate to the effect the word 'diet' has, we don't like it much here for all the negative connotations it brings with it. If you want to lose weight then we're more than happy to support you any way we can - well done for keeping off the weight you've lost so far; any idea why you don't feel able to shift the last bit? Maybe going back to a food diary just for a week would highlight some things? What about upping your exercise (by that I mean anything that increases your calorie expenditure, you don't have to become a gym bunny!).
Good luck to you both, let us know a little more about what you'd like to achieve and how you want to do it and we can help you get there. The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

ive been this weight roughly 10st-10st7 for the last 5 years. i fit into clothes, just not as well as i could. i can buy a size 12/14 and buy trendy clothes in normal clothes shops. this is what i wanted when i was size 18 and 12st7 when i was aged 15!! i think the lack of motivation comes from this...why do i need to be a size 12? my clothes will fit better, i will be able to wear skinny jeans without a muffin top and not wobble in a bikini. every time i get below 10st I think wahooooooo then pig out

keep listening bails jamtart, she is v good with te advice and helping you learn to figure out WHY it is that you do that pig out thing - she really helped me!
Beanie, it can be hard being on your own but I feel better for the fact that I was - although I am with OH now I know that I can cope with whatever life throws at me both in terms of managing everything and also financially. I know quite a few women who have never have to do anything by themselves - parents supported them through uni, moved straight in with boyfriend etcetc - who if, god forbid, the worst happened tomorrow wouldn't have any idea how much their council tax was - let alone anything else. btw, you might want to try a bomb - a flea bomb that is. You get all the pets and bods out of the house for a few hours and when you come back all the little blighters are dead. My mum had major issues a few years back and it sorted it out in one go.
Well done mot, you are really getting into the swing of things! And raph, and starlight - really admiring your perseverence you are doing so well to keep going.
Purplecatlover, while it may not have been the best idea diet wise, it is lush. and cos it's expensive you'll end up eating less than if you went to see mr t to get some chocolate.
Victory - do not feel guilty about these emails - you have more on your mind. we're all keeping everything crossed for you.
Well everyone, over the moon to record a 1.8kg loss!
taking bb's advice to redu e the syns has helped - I' now on 10 a day - 15 for emergencies, and only having my second HEA if i need it, rather than eating babybels for the sake of it. And i had homemade muffins this week! Very chuffed to finally be going the right way.0
