I have thought long and hard about your post about your mum, and I think I have finally worked out why I never told mine, she wouldn't have called to ask me how I was, she probably wouldn't have believed it in the first place anyway. She is too old to change now and I'm not interested anymore anyway.

I am sorry to hear about your OH, people to tend to forget the others in your life at a time like this and he has a diffcult job too,

Okay, so I'm going to stick my neck out here and see what you guys think... I've heard that on the DFW board they have meets, and was wondering if we could do something similar? I'm aware geography is a major issue but I would love to get to meet you properly. What do you think??

I has been talked about before but it was never taken anywhere. People in London always think that London is the best place to meet...

When I did something like this many MANY years ago, the central point was taken as the midway point between the two furthest people north and south and it turned out to be Sheffield
