Just a quickie as Im getting ready for night shift.

MumofTwo EFT is a technique where you tap with your fingers on accupressure points. These are usually on the face and fingers. The guy that taught me was amazing. One of the other ladies there could not touch bare feet and he worked with her. By the end of the day she was fine. It can be used for a wide range of things. If you Google you can find info if you are interested. PS you are not thick its just not something that is widely known about.

Will weigh myself in the morning when I get back from work. Night shift is a temptation time for me. But will be good.

Well done to all the losers.
Have googled EFT and found a group course taking place in March and have emailed the EFT practioner to ask if I can go along!!

I find the maintainers chart immensely helpful to keep focused, if I see a plus there it keeps me motivated to make it a 0 back again, true, no one can keep at the same weight all the time but one can give it as close to goal as possible keeping the person content:D

Went to the appointment today for 14'30, got seen at 17'15:eek: had an ultrasound scan, a consultacion, a biopsy and a wait of 1 to 2 weeks for the results, he said it could be one of many things and not prepared to commit so took a sample and the wait goes on:D Have a number to ring in 8 days time, if it is not back by then ring in another week after that, the MIL rang to see how I went and my mum just sent me another vicious email about her cancelled stay:D

  • Wow - Raphael - that's a brilliant result.

STS for me this week again grannynise.

I've decided that I'll not be going back to WW after all. I'm finding it difficult to make it to classes now that my OH has gone back onto shift work on a Tuesday night and I've heard a few bad reports about the monday night classes being slow and out of control and gold members getting weighed before paying members - I agree with some benefits, but I don't agree with having to hang around when I've paid and someone else is now free and can skip the queue.

I've had a few weeks to think about it and I've fudged around with it and cheated (myself) so much that I think I need to give a new plan a go. I was mulling over trying SW because I need the disicpline of a class (and I love cheese - which you're crucified for on WW). It'll be next monday before I can get to a class in my area so I'm going it alone this week and depending on how I get on, I may stick at GIA for a while first and save my self some money.

Victory - waiting with baited breath to see how you get on.- Hope all's well.

Well done everyone who's lost or maintained so far this week.

Oooh my brother & his girlfriend are doing that, aparently they haven't started training yet, and neither of them go to the gym  how they will manage I don't know, I can only run for about 5-6 mins at the moment!

Speaking of the gym, I think it's working! I've only had 3 days off since I joined on the 19th, which I don't feel guilty about. I tell myself as long as I go at least 3 times a week I'm not wasting the money. I don't pressure myself to go every day, or every other day, so it doesn't seem like a chore.
Anyway, WI today...6 lbs loss for me this week!! I'm just 2.8 lbs away from my next stone, and 16.8 lbs away from my June target! :D

Well done Raph!!!!!!!! that is brilliant news - roll on the next stone being shattered!

  • Heya!

Just a quick question.. Does anyone here on WW follow Core rather than Points? I'm considering swapping over, even if just for a couple of weeks, cos I've been letting myself have all kinds of junk, just because I can fit it into my Points. Thats ok, but its not really helping the healthy eating side of all of this. So yeah... I'll still be able to have the occasional treat, because of the weekly points allowance, but I'll have to be much more careful about it...

Oh well, WI tomorrow, so if I do the week properly, I guess I'll be able to work out whether its done me any good!

Nice one Raph, great result!

Thanks for explaining Missy, makes sense for you.
Victory, sorry you have to wait again, keep those positive thoughts going.

Okay, so I'm thinking of coming back...if I do, when does the March challenge start? Is it this Wed or next?
Thought I'd made a decision about the gym, then went to my class with the lovely Danielle and I'm confused again  I'll sleep on it and then make a decision. I've had some more tests for my illness recently so I'll get my results soon and can see how I'm doing.
Good luck to everyone still to weigh in x
