Little energy so apologies for briefness of post -
Great to see you Starlight, hope the cuddle helped; I love man cuddles!
Welcome to all newbies, lovely bunch of peeps here to help you. Aqua aerobics - my mum swears by it; don't worry about being in a swimming cossie, everyone else is worrying about how they look, and you'll be under water for the class. Good luck, let us know how it goes. The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

I'm thinking Aqua aerobics might me the way to go, does anyone go and does it actually work ?? Being the larger lady I'm nervous of showing myself in public in a swim suit and I hate the communal changing areas in pools so before I take the plunge (excuse the pun) I thought I'd see if anyone has had any success.
thanks
Josie
ive been going once or twice a week for the past few weeks. first time i didn't really put a lot of effort in while i was figuring out what to do. next few times i increased the effort, jumped higher, lifted my leg up higher, stretched my arms further etc and it sure as heck did feel like id worked hard and exercised. so yeah id say it would probably work.0 -

Thanks, think I'm going to give it a go. I've just enquired about swimming lessons too, would love to be able to swim too.0 -

hello peeps
a quiet day for BB. Mr BB is off on a conference to do with slugs ,snails and quite possibly puppy dog tails. Have noticed I graze on endless grub when he is not here. Which is slightly tragic as I have spent much time on my own in the past so I would describe myself as happy in my own company. Will have to try and cut that habit, - especially as he has a JOB interview Tues. We sooo need him to get this job. Would be a huge boost to his confidence since being made redundant a few years ago.
Ooh, just bought a chair today on ebay - a rather nice 'orthopedic' chair, good for me knees and back but someone has turned a 'little old lady chair' into something gorgeous with lush purple velour. Yum. Given what I am wearing today I shall diappear when sitting in it:D . More than half the price of a new one and much better upholstery (I just couldn't face beige floral...but current chair not so good for me since arthritis debacle).
Victory - sorry you have to wait a little longer - I imagined you may be sent for a biopsy before you really know, but it sounds like granny knows her onions in this situation. If you don't get a definite result on Monday, do ask for a clear explanation of the what happens and when.
Missgy - what a fab suprise. How exciting. Starlight - so sorry things are still tough. A good friend is worth their weight in gold.
Very glad the fog in the land of Petrichor is thinning.
How was the gym bails?

Grannynise are you enjoying the Stuart fest(I always give him a wave) on Sunday evenings?:D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Well, guess I have to admit since saying I was starting I really have not been that good! Although here is my plan, I have spent the afternoon cooking things that I can freeze that DH and DS can have then when I have thngs to keep me on track I dont have to start cooking different meals after work as that is when I seem to trip up thinking its just easier ti have what they are having. Dont get me wrong they eat 'proper' meals its just I am quite happy to have just veg stir fry or some pasta but DH would think this is just a starter! So my cooking has consisted of Chilli, Spag Bol sauce and a Lasagne, all made from a 700g of lean mince that is from Asda for £3. Course only problem is DH has had chilli for tea and then asked me to leave him a lasagne out of the freezer for when he gets home from watching the rugby!!!!!!:j :j :j:A0

starlight, hope you are feeling better, great result kymrob! hi garty, have you decided if you are following a plan or are you going it alone? There's lots of advice either way.
V tired as been on feet all day. Been really good though, loads of interest. And i stayed away from the burger wagon!!! Slightly disappointed - one of the traders had made a purple felt dragon which was just gorgeous - he had black spirally lines down his back, and he had wire inside him so that he was poseable and you could attach him to your arm. I told OH I wanted it as my reward for helping and he said yes but soemone else bought it before i got there, and then came and showed me how great it was! V miffed! She did love it as much as i did though so i can;t complain. Might have to order one, but its not the same. I actually put make up on today, haven't done that since my birthday. It's a bt silly, but there are quite a lot of girls in LRP who have rather a crush on paul( he gets serious propositions A LOT at overnight events, or at least he says he does!) so iwas kinda proving a point. Is that silly? I'm not worried about him doing anything because I know he wouldn't but it really annoys me when girls think it's okay to chase after an obviously attached bloke. So i tarted up a bit. And filed my nails just in case . . .0 -
BB, what a lovely happy post, you are on form! Loved the bit about disappearing in your chair from purple camoflauge
I've got everything crossed for Mr BB on Tuesday... I have EXACTLY the same problem when Mr Bails is away: I've about got it sussed for when he's just out (which is good because that's a lot) but when he's away for the weekend, I just can't seem to stop. I feel as aggrieved as you as I never used to have this problem either
KPC, how very rude!! I'd have used those nails by now if it was me. It doesn't matter if Paul wouln't do anything, it's disrespectful - grr, let me at 'em! Anyone got a fisty cuffs smiley? That purple dragon sounds so cute, I want one too!
Right, I am trying for an early night to catch up on some of the sleep I haven't got recently. Oh, gym was good thanks BB - not so sure about the class I went to (or rather the instructor - lot to live up to after my lovely relaxation class instructor) but not really fair to judge on one session so going back tomorrow for more (in a v relaxed way). Michael (personal trainer) even phoned me to see how my class went - Yes, I know he's only interested in my money but let me have my fun :rotfl:The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000
